Tonight we placed an order on the Dairy Queen app and was told they had no record of our order. We were told to verify we were at the correct location, which we did on the app w the employee. We were able to provide an order id, proof of payment, correct address, and also name order was purchased under. While trying to locate a solution we were met with “I don’t knows” and left at the window multiple times as no one could determine the next move. After sitting there/left at the drive thru (seemed as if they were waiting for us to drive away), we were told sorry can’t do anything for you. Maybe call customer service. Was not able to provide a customer service number and was told I don’t know maybe Google can help. After reviewing Google reviews while in the parking lot, this seems to be a common issue. The manager Lacy was very dismissive and left her young employees to handle the situation, which again resulted in nothing. While entering the dining hall and politely asking for a district managers contact info (as it was obvious that the manager currently in charge was not capable of handling an issue that had occurred), I was told they don’t have any contact info for me and maybe Google will tell me once again. I again politely mentioned I found it odd that they do not have any type of contact details they are able to offer me to find some kind of solution outside of Google and I found it highly unprofessional. Mind you again, the manager would not step up and handle the situation. In my opinion , that would be a good time for the manager to become involved as her employees were struggling to provide adequate customer service. Even though I approach the staff calmly and in a professional manner, I was met with massive attitude as if it was not okay for me to ask the questions I was asking. The employee even got angry enough to storm off as if she needed a moment because she could not control her anger all because I asked if she could please provide me her name after being told that is none of my business and nothing I need to know. Again, left at the counter as if I was expected to leave while a handful of staff walked around as if I was not there. I gave it a couple of mins to see if the manager would resolve the issue and nothing. I politely asked a young man, I am just trying to feed my family not cause problems. Can you please provide me with your managers name. The young man walks over to the manager and she eventually made her way to the counter to inform me her name was Lacy. While walking back to our car, I was approached by a woman in the parking lot expressing she had just had her order messed up and consistently having issues w this location. Needless to say we are now out money and no dinner for our children. I find it quite sad that as a manager you rely on these young adults to handle these things on their own while offering no assistance. Lacy lacks problem solving, leadership, and customer service skills. Dairy Queen you have got to do better.. Especially on choosing who your leaders are. I’m quite baffled and will not...
Read moreI had a coupon for $2 blizzards of any size and one for $1 off a dipped cone. I took my kids here, specifically, duw to this coupon. I went through the Drive thru and ordered, as usual. I was very specific about my coupons, the order taker even confirmed that this was a buy 1 get 1 for $2/each, as well as the other coupon.
When I arrived at the counter to pay, I did so as usual. After the transaction had gone through, he gave me my card back. I was confused because he hadn't taken my coupons, so I inquired. He essentially said that he had charged me full price and there's nothing he could do. I explained the situation and he essentially blamed me for not presenting the coupon to him before the transaction had gone through, despite my clear requests during the order and his confirmation of the coupons. I remained calm and explained again, my position and that this was literally the only reason for my visit, in the first place. I asked him what he could do for me to correct his mistake, as i was now out $9. Again, he blamed me for not prese and the coupon before the transaction. I asked for management and he said he was the Shift Leader, I asked for upper management and he "highest person I'd be able to talk to." I asked when his manager would be available, he said "they're never available." I asked to come in person, he said "good luck." This is the worst customer service with no sense of accountability and even worse to blame a customer for their mistake. Brandon was the name of the...
Read more3rd review edit. Gave them another try, and their food is a bit of a hit or miss for what I expect of fast food. I wouldn't recommend getting the burgers, especially if you are picky about how much sauce is on them. Usually they have too little ketchup to mustard for my taste, but if I ask for extra ketchup, they are drowned in ketchup and extremely messy to eat. They also have no meal options for their smaller burgers, which means most of the burger meals are 1100+ calories. I'm not a big person and I can't stomach that much unless I've not eaten for 8 hours prior. However, I will sing my praises for their chicken tenders, which are typically quite alright, albeit a bit salty. The texas toast included in the chicken baskets is weirdly dry, not in a way you would expect toast to be. The fries are fine. A big plus is that the food is always hot, no matter whether you order in store on via the app (and you get there by the time the food is prepared). The food is somewhat expensive for fast food, and this is especially present in the drinks, which start at $1.79 for a small drink standalone. Depending on the time and the day you are at this location, some of the employees may be messing around with each other and annoying each other, but I've not noticed a difference in the quality of food. I'm still very annoyed that they close their lobby by 9pm with zero indication, but at least they let you stay right up until then if you arrive a few...
