Added picture of my car This tire shop is just money hungry and don't care about costumers at all! I should've read the reviews before coming to this place!! Sadly I am having to write one myself now. They broke my hub cap ( on top of that denied it said I ran over a curb or hit something but I saw it happen right then and there I saw the guy hitting it repeatedly I came up begging him to stop. When I came up I saw my air needle was jammed under and he continue to hit it. These people have no knowledge to what they are doing!! They also have no warranty on use tires so if yours end up having a leak 4 days later like mine did in BOTH tires they will not do anything about it besides ask you if you want to buy a new set from them. Or if you want them to check if there is any puncture holes but they will charge you . Oh AFTER they sold you 2 tires with a leak 4 days ago. Probably trying to get rid of there hole having tires as fast as they can. Yes they are fast but only to serve the costumers as fast as they can. They don't care about returning customers they only care about making a quick buck off everyone that comes in.
I came into this shop with my father since it isn't far from my location. ( 82nd and Prescott Portland Oregon ) They sold me 2 USED tires for $90 compared to the tire shop up the street on 82nd Sandy (should've went there). I also had a leak, didn't know what from in the back left tire that needed to be patched up (extra $10) The two tires were the only set they had he said they had no more in the back either I take it or leave it. The traction on them were barely there it looked like it had about 6 months left I got them anyway to last me until I get a new set. They changed it really fast I was there for 15mins max. I knew my back tire was leaking but I didn't know why. They patched it up and didn't even tell me why it needed to be patched until I asked him 3 times he told me I had 2 nails in the back tire. Then that's when I turned around and heard the banging. Worst night mare ever I ran up to the garage and saw him trying to bang my hubcap back on. Banging it on and squishing the needle that puts air into my tires!! I told him to stop. I took it off myself and stuck the needle in the proper place and it just popped right on ( without the unnecessary hitting with a plastic hammer) I confronted him right away because he broke my hubcap from banging on it so hard I saw with my own eyes!! They denied it said I must of hit a curb before I got there or ran over a rock. At this point I am a little irritated because what mechanic doesn't know how to put a simple hub cap on????
I am not the type to bash a business or talk down on anyone but I am truly disappointed with how this whole situation ended. I try to help out in the neighborhood by going to a neighborhood business and they just treated me like I wasn't human, attacking me like they didn't do anything wrong. My heart absolutely aches for people that do that to others just for money.
I am pretty sure everyone gets the point that I will not be returning and I will never recommend anyone , even my worse enemy to come to this Portland Tire Shop on 82nd and Prescott in NE...
Read moreDO NOT GO HERE THEY ARE A SCAM!! I went due to a flat, they told me my brand new tire was irreplaceable and have me by a used tire. Well that used tires already had a big patch on it and they knew it!! They won't replace it nor refund my money. Pics to prove!!
RESPONSE: I did not "beg for a tire." I didn't drive on my tire either. It popped literally around the corner, so yes, I drove it to the nearest shop. You never told me it was already patched, and it would only last one day. You didn't even talk to us for more than 5 min. I asked you how much was a tire you said $100 for a new one and $65 for a used one. That was it until we paid, and then at that time you only asked cash or card. Your response alone is very outrageous! You lie to people take their tire and sell tires with big holes in them that have been repatched, clear from the pictures. You stated it was a good used tire, why would I spend $65 on a tire for one day?? Like I told you when I did come back to get it repatched again and you still tried to charge me $15 because of your 7 day warranty. That's when I told you and the guy who "fixed" my tire I wasn't paying you anything, then over the phone when I found out from another tire shop what you did, I called and asked for manager you lied and said there wasn't one so I told you in Spanish that I found out what you did and told you again I WILL NEVER GO BACK AND I HOPE NO ONE ELSE DOES EITHER!! Again, most of your reviews are bad...
Read moreHello, so I went to this shop because I pass by every morning and every afternoon. It is always busy. So I went there for the first time about 2weeks ago. I needed to check out why my car jurks or swerves. I told them about a tire rod, driver side needing to be replaced (per another mechanic advised). I couldn’t afford the other mechanic that checked it out first.
They lifted it jiggled the tires and said passenger side tire rod needed replace and they’ll do an alignment. I said ok. I waited there till it was done. They are nice people, the price was cheaper than what he quoted me at first, that was good. However, an hour later when I was on the freeway the car was swerving even more. I had to put hazards on then pull over. I was all shaky, scared me. I pulled over and called them on the freeway.
I made it back to them that same day 30mins before closing. Told them it’s worse. I had the mechanic drive it. He said it’s fine maybe it’s the calipers. I said what about the tire rod on driver side, he said no it’s fine. 2weeks later I still can’t go on freeway, he said he fix it but here is another Saturday and no response. I’m out of money, I kinda want/need at least some of my money back to have it fixed.Did I mention I went back to them total of 3times for this. Oh and I asked if they rotated the tires another guy said yes.... ummm then why is the lower tred...
