Dottys — Restaurant in Portland

We found ourselves here because the restaurant attached to the hotel around the corner did not have a lounge. Made our way inside to be greeted by a nice elderly lady. The drinks were cheap, but the quality was reflective to the price. Had a sketchy kid keep coming in an out walking around talking to himself. Pretty sketchy, they asked him to leave several times. There was 8 poker machines. It is pretty dark and depressing inside honestly. We made sure to tip heavily each drink as those two lil ladies put up with a hell of a lot for a minimum wage I'm sure. Walked in to use the machines because I wanted to check out their platinum series but I wanted to use the restroom first. Bartender told me to just leave if I wanted to use the restroom. That “everyone who uses the bathroom just leaves so no one is allowed to use it” I said I’m gonna play the machines and order something? She still said no. Lol okaaay well how am I supposed to order drinks and hang out at the machines if I can’t use the restroom? What terrible service. What a terrible attitude. If you want to get on a machine, take care what time you go here. Seems to have it's "regulars" who can make that last dollar go on a 20-minute run while you wait for them to finish so you can get the machine. They even expect you to hold their machine (credits in them!) while they go outside to smoke a cigarette. If you're a smoker you'll think that's great service... The rest of us think it's annoying. Go when they first open or else call to see what the wait is...
