The care and support you get from PT360 is unparalleled. I recommend them to everyone I know that’s experiencing a physical issue, injury or pain whether it’s new and acute or a longer term, chronic issue. They literally changed my life and my outlook on managing physical limitations and pain. I’ve seen several physical therapists and other body work specialists to treat a highly complex set of back, hip, leg and foot issues that arose after I had a disc herniate and had a partial discectomy and laminectomy (back surgery.) After surgery, my recovery was slow and my mobility was greatly reduced. Any type of sustained movement like walking or biking would cause extreme pain and spasms for hours or days. Sitting had become torture. I could anticipate pain and spasms with even micro-movements that lead to fear of movement and exercise altogether in an effort to avoid pain and sick days from work. I saw many specialists who offered little more than core exercises and I did these, but experienced little improvement and only had increased pain. A physiatrist even told me that my condition would never improve and that I should give up driving (I was only 34 years old, single, and driving was essential for work). I was more than deflated and resigned to living in pain…and increasingly became hobbled. Very few people could understand the mental and physical anguish I lived with and I didn’t feel like any specialist I’d seen truly understood this, most were very impersonal. I saw several physical therapists that never touched my back. They only took notes while watching me do core exercises for 15 minutes…and then the appointment was over. More commonly overtime the specialists I saw just wanted me to try to “imagine” the pain was disappearing, which I tried. But, the pain was too overwhelming to forget. I persevered but I got to a point where my hip wouldn’t work if I tried to walk more than a block. I simply couldn’t live that way. But, this situation changed completely when I found PT360. Not only did the physical therapist validate everything I’d experienced, they were able to provide instant pain relief using manual therapy and exercise. They were also cheerful, positive, and realistic about the work I’d have to put into the recovery, especially given the length of time I’d been dealing with the chronic issue (2 years of searching for relief). I felt hopeful and understood…finally! The pain wasn’t all in my head after all! It took several months of treatment for me to gain more mobility, avert the pain and spasms caused by regular everyday movement, but I looked forward to every treatment not only for the pain relief but the hope and support the team provided. Their method of physical therapy is unique, and personalized. Their approach changed the course of my life and gave me the confidence to keep trying new movements and to strive to overcome my physical limitations. Whenever I have a setback now, I know where to...
Read moreWhy take Medicaid/ OHP in the first place if you’re not going to give folks financial options after their visits run out? If they had sliding scale/ payment options especially for folks who get referred here through OHP which is notoriously stingy and only give so many visits per year I’d give em five stars hands down. The physical therapists are lovely, but the accessibility for financially disadvantaged folks has lots of room for improvement. I understand it’s a business but it’s a business giving medical care and many other PT offices offer sliding scale and/or payment options. which I will be looking into bc the boss here clearly only wants to appear to be helping poorer populations but not actually following through where it counts 🤷♀️ Between the director having an attitude with me when I asked what could be done about the insurance situation/ if sliding scale fees were an option, and the office calling me asking me where I’ve been when I can’t afford 170$ a visit out of pocket (seriously, I was out of work for 2 months and can still not work full time, where am I supposed to get that kind of money?) bc my insurance ran out; the admin side of this facility with revolving doors for the front desk workers is much to be desired and left a sour taste in my mouth. If you can shell out the cash, this place is phenomenal though especially Caitlin. I couldn’t walk in February but with the tools they gave me I’m doing a bit better (good old insurance cut me off before I could graduate tho so ofc I’m still in a lot of pain and it’s been getting worse after not being able to see them for a few weeks.) Other reviews from years ago mentioned discounts and such, they don’t do that anymore. I asked and begged for some way to continue getting the care I need but Caitlin seemed to be the only one there who cared how upset I am that I have to cut my treatment short. Hope I don’t take a turn for the worst and end up needing spinal surgery even with the time I had there over...
Read moreHighly recommending 360 and Caitlin!
I have seen Caitlin for two different issues and my partner has seen her for one issue. We both had excellent experiences.
Speaking for myself: I am disabled (vision and mobility) and I have PTSD which is often set off in medical settings. I knew I needed PT for my knee (turns out I needed surgery too) and it was very hard for me to take the necessary steps to access the care I needed. For anyone who has similar concerns as me, you already know that it is not only difficult to get to the first appointment but it is also difficult to keep going back.
Initially I didn’t tell Caitlin about my PTSD. Despite this lack of foreknowledge my experience was comfortable and safe. After a few sessions I realized that Caitlin could read boundaries exceptionally well and that they know how to provide trauma-informed care. They never touched me without my consent and they never touched me unless it was specific to the medical treatment they were providing. They were super friendly, empathetic and kind. They are easy to talk to and they are very knowledgeable about their profession. I improved immediately under their care and looked forward to my sessions— very rare considering my medical history.
I have seen many physical therapists over the years, so I feel I have the authority to state that Caitlin excels. I am so grateful I was paired with Caitlin— I left every session feeling stronger and healthier. I left every session feeling more knowledgeable about the anatomy of the knee and what lifestyle choices I needed to make going forward.
I have moved out of the area and won’t be able to see Caitlin again, this is tragic for me because they have set the...
