This place is easily the coolest drum shop I've ever been to! Part drum shop and part museum, I could have spent a half a day in there! The best selection of vintage drums anywhere. The staff is awesome; knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly... which is the elusive music store employee "hat trick!" I walked in for the first time a couple weeks ago, a total stranger and Jose, the owner, acknowledged me as soon as I stepped through the door as if I was a regular customer, he gave me a quick tour and asked how he could help me. The folks that run this place are the absolute best in the business, and the selection is some of the most unique you’ll find anywhere in the country. We are so lucky to have a local shop of this caliber in an age where corporate chains and online retailers are putting a lot of local shops out of business. Revival is run by amazing drummers and drum techs who know what they’re doing, care about the musicians who come through their shop and put a lot of care into making sure people get set up with what they need at a price they can afford. Revival is a great drum shop that we're lucky to have. Their selection of new and used drums and cymbals is great, as well as a nice collection of percussive odds and ends and more than enough sticks to get by. The staff are unfailingly friendly and helpful whether you're just picking up a handful of felts or looking for a whole kit. The vintage selection is really special, and they have a few big floor toms I drool over every time I go in.
