Starbucks — Restaurant in Portland

Getting some Starbies before a Target run, especially during pumpkin spice season, is hands down one of my fave things ever. Well, not here... because the barista was awful and rude and ruined it for me.

I watched her mess up the drink ahead of mine and like okay, it happens. But then she went to take my order and she was clearly just in a ✨mood✨ and I have no idea what I did to anger her. I asked for a baked apple croissant and she slammed it on the counter in front of me. I had to ask her to heat it up and she rolled her eyes.

She overcharged me, and when I tried to ask about it, she got annoyed. I was running on a tight schedule so I told her it was fine and said I'd just pay the difference. So she scanned my Starbucks app and then I went to pay the remainder on my card, but I didn't realize until it was too late that the whole thing went on my card.

I asked her about it nicely and she got BIG MAD. Like yelling at me and interrupting me when I tried to ask her to fix her mistake. Another employee (a regular target employee, because they had this poor barista scheduled alone) had to step in, and as I was trying to explain the issue to her, the barista kept interrupting and yelling at me to respect her. I was shocked, as I hadn't done anything to her! 🫣

The billing issue got worked out... but my drink was mediocre at best. I asked for extra pumpkin syrup and could barely taste it. I had to ask her for the pumpkin spice stuff they put on top the whipped cream, and of course she got mad at that request too.

Anyway, I won't be back. There's another Starbucks nearby so I'll just go there next time. I don't need to be berated when I'm trying to treat myself to a nice...

When I coming to Target shopping, and buy something to eat, I eat snacks but not enough, I saw Target have a Starbucks, so I want to buy something to drink, I ask Starbucks staff, I just eat snacks, I want to order some cookie and cracker drink, so the Starbucks staff smiling ask me what you want, I order Mocha Cookie Crumble Frappuccino, he is good very good, kind, comfort smile, I saw him he is very seriously to do drink for me and behind me the waiting other people keeping lovely smiles, he always keep smiling for everyone, I really like him, he is professional, HE NAME IS COREY, THANK YOU SO MUCH COREY GAVE ME FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE, Thanks a lot, all...

This Starbucks is the worst. They seem to open whenever they feel like it and they're almost always out of seasonal things that you'd think they would keep in stock during that season. They've often run out of cold brew, and on more than one occasion they ran out of cups and/or lids. When I wrote a complaint to Starbucks about this location's inability to open on time, I was told that I should call ahead to find out if they were open. Why have posted hours if you're not going to adhere to them? Do yourself a favor and go to the full Starbucks down the street at Cascade Station. Or better yet, skip Starbucks all together and go...
