I am so happy that I stumbled across The Flower Kiosk, an adorable little flower shop in the heart of downtown Portsmouth. I was so indecisive on who to choose to be my florist for my wedding and after reading other reviews and meeting with Vanessa, I knew I found the perfect person and the perfect place. Vanessa is probably the sweetest person there is. She is so understanding and patient and nice and she really knows her stuff. You can tell she loves her work which gave me confidence that she was going to do an amazing job. She's reassuring, professional, knows all of the latest trends, and very personable. She took the time to meet with me on more than one occasion and always answered my thousands of emails in a timely manner. I presented her with a huge mantel piece that I wanted as the backdrop of my ceremony at my venue and she delivered. It was so gorgeous and absolutely stunning. On my wedding day when I snuck into the ballroom before everyone was there I actually cried when I saw the setup of the centerpieces, the mantel piece, and the rose petals lining the aisle. It added so much to an already beautiful venue. I was at a loss for words when I saw my bridal bouquet. I love it so much that I had it preserved immediately after! I am so glad that we hired The Flower Kiosk for our August 2023 wedding! Vanessa and Pam were absolutely phenomenal to work with, and so incredibly sweet. I had my first meeting with Vanessa 1.5 years ago, and I told her my theme (classy nautical) and vision. She was so incredibly organized, genuinely excited for my special day, and asked me questions to make sure she truly understood my vision. I had so many Pinterest images that inspired me, and told her I wanted a little bit of this, and a little bit of that. In the time leading up to the wedding, I would make adjustments to the order. The Flower Kiosk is the perfect boutique for customers who are relationship based, like to support local businesses, and can appreciate the beauty in the details. We knew we wanted Vanessa to design our wedding flowers because she's good at what she does as a business owner and artist. Her prices are reasonable for the selection she uses and I can't imagine our day being the same without her work. Consultations were accommodating and easy, Vanessa listened well and delivered exactly as we discussed and the packaging for transport was well done. Our wedding was a week ago and the bridesmaids bouquets are still gorgeous.
