Pretty disappointed with our time at Crossroads. We were excited to live here after reading great reviews and meeting Trina but unfortunately move in day things changed quickly. Doing the move in check list there was a long list of places/items that were not cleaned. LAYERS of dust on walls, fans, doors, items left in the dishwasher, multiple things under the oven and fridge along with dirt, even dirty underwear by the washing machine. We halted moving our things in and had the cleaner come back, which Trina was adamant and kind about. I sat in the empty apartment with my son which the cleaner and maintenance man came in and I think they forgot I was there or didn’t care because they started talking about how it was ridiculous they had to do these things, I was annoyed but brushed it off. Got our things in and the apartment still felt dirty so I decided to do a clean myself. Found food splatters on the pantry door, wipe down the walls and doors of dust and the carpets were FULL of dog hair. Not a great first impression but can move on from it. We were offered $20 and no apologies. A few days later I had to go into the office and made small talk with Trina, we started talking about my sons name because she liked it and she shared with me out of random that she named her daughter after the first women she ever slept with and still missed to this day. I was quite shocked to be told personal details by my apartment manager. Constant passive aggressive emails are sent over things in the apartment complex as well. Not a horrible place to live by any means but we definitely did not feel comfortable there and ended up breaking our lease several...
Read moreI've lived here for a year. Every three months' rent was bumped up 50 dollars. With an email saying corperate fees or something. Or when our lease was renewed.. I signed for 1250 a month last year for a one bedroom apartment. last month we paid 1450. With 100 for the garage. The manager is friendly. The community is quiet and clean. The maintenance is good about fixing things. Very friendly people. But I have been in the area my whole life and am not happy about the price.
Honestly, it's been a really nice place to live, but winter was cold. You can feel the wind come through all the vents and AC units. Doors have very thin walls and floors. You can hear all your neighbors through the walls talking.
Most people here are really friendly and honestly good people. This is not low income. Most excitement that happens is kids being kids. If you have the money, it's not a bad place. I am leaving this review with honest opinions and thorough thoughts. I feel that the market price just isn't right for a 1 bedroom. I mean, I pay the same as a motel room $47 dollars a day. But it wasn't bad, just market price doesn't add up. Ten miles away, I can rent a house in Washington with 3 bedrooms and still pay around 1500. I mean, cda is nice but not that nice yet. Inflation, I guess.. or...
Read moreI would not recommend these apartments to anyone. The price is extremely high for the quality of these units. Everything is so cheap, and I moved in a week after it was built. You can hear everything above and below you, people talking, their music, if they have a kid, good luck trying to sleep because every step shakes the apartment along with sounding like someone is knocking on the door. The kitchen is extremely cheap so if you do any sort of cooking “real” food, any grease will stain the walls and the vents go no where and just send the grease into the air and it covers everything. A grill is a must if you are cooking any sort of meats regularly. The complex will not do anything about people intentionally being loud, and put out a letter recently saying that if we are having issues with other residents that they will not do anything about it, we have to call the cops. If you decide to take your chances with this place, try to get a third floor because the sound of people will start to drive you mad. They’re also starting to raise the price of the units so just know, you will be paying far more for the cheapest built apartments I’ve ever lived in the last 5 states that...
