I recently went into this store to in inquire about my bill. Some history ... I was paying $126/ month ... recently increased to $136/ month in addition I'm now being charged $5 to pay the bill in the store.
I never agreed to this fee
My bill is due by the 7th of the month. I've been with this service for 8 yrs and this store for 6 years. Last month's bill was paid at noon on the 8th. Back to my bill inquiry... I was notified my bill of $143 is ready to view/pay. In the store I'm informed the $7 is a late payment fee. Fine "Ok, let's drop 1 line." "We can't do that in the store."
Let's go back a few years I live where a signal booster was required to not drop calls at home. I had one through T Mobile. It died ... as things do. I contact T Mobile to replace it. They say they attempted to. The shipper didn't deliver to my house but claim it was delivered. The shipper suggested that I check with my neighbors. Mean while I've returned the unit that is failing. T mobile wants to send out another unit. Through some more conversation I find out the unit they want to send uses WiFi. That won't work for my situation. They begin looking for a "cell service" booster like I had before. 2 months later ... still in conversation to better my signal ... I'm informed they no longer offer that type of unit. In my discussion with their Engineer I expressed that if I had WiFi ... to work with their booster ... I could make Wi-Fi calls and would not NEED a booster. He agreed. So ... no booster. Their booster has been returned with no replacement. I had made a $50 deposit on equipment that I'm not aware of being reimbursed for returning. Since then the signal has gotten better I no longer drop calls.
Bottom line I left AT&T because their customer service/support was no longer at an acceptable level. Currently finding T Mobile both corporate and in store to be following this trend.
To give credit where credit is due ... there have been people both in corporate and this store that do try and succeed in helping. Sadly ... that's not the majority. Even sadder is its not even a minority. It seems to be limited to a select few people. Its not a cultivated idea within the business.

After a month I decided to go with Verizon-Iâd always heard great things about them-low and behold T-Mobile locked my phone into their service and wouldnât unlock it unless I paid a couple hundred. I spent hours on the phone with customer service over this, paid $75 to end my plan because thatâs what they wanted at the time, went into the store a few times but everyone was very unhelpful. Finally I went to the store for a third time and the manager happened to be there and he finally resolved my issue, managed to get my phone unlocked but they couldnât give me a refund for the money that I paid to get it unlocked.    Read moreI ordered a replacement phone at no cost for my son's phone two weeks ago. I was Never called or told it came in. They claimed they sent me an email but I was told they would call me. I don't take emails for this. Im so busy with my business that i told them I need a phone call. I was given too many excuses as to why they could not get into my account. They sent back my son's phone claiming the system told them to do it. District Mgr never called me to come & get it. Yg man said we only send emails. I'm thoroughly disgusted w/the terrible attitude of Mgr who refused to wait & listen to me: YG MAN CALLED HIM ON PHONE. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE USE TO BE GOOD PRIOR TO CHRISTMAS. IT IS TERRIBLE NOW.
