Avoid Instacarkey at All Costs – THEY ARE A SCAM!
Instacarkey provided the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. They eagerly took my money but completely disappeared afterward. Multiple emails and calls went unanswered, and after reading other reviews (too late for me), it’s clear this is their standard practice.
I placed an order on October 15th and, after two weeks of silence despite three emails and four voicemails, left a negative review on October 30th. That prompted an employee to call, begging me to remove it. They blamed their lack of response on a two-day internet outage, though I had been trying to reach them for over a week. They promised an update by October 31st and even gave me a cell number.
On October 31st, no update came. After texting twice, I finally got a late-night response. The next morning, the employee called with more excuses—blaming the internet and leaving early for Halloween. When I calmly expressed my frustration, they cursed at me and mocked my own business’s reviews in an unprofessional attempt to shift blame.
Ultimately, I had to dispute the charges with my credit card company, as they wouldn’t even answer the phone to process a refund. This company is dishonest, unprofessional, and not worth your time or money. Learn from my mistake—stay far away from Instacarkey. Read moreI thought the issue I had was resolved after 7 months I had not received my key module. after a honest review they finally called me back after I had attempted to call them for months, during that phone call they assured me that the package will be sent out and gave me a tracking number now after over a week the tracking number they gave me is still showing mail service is still waiting to receive the package, at this point I am beyond frustrated and can not recommend there service. update: finally received key and module, key did not work had the car towed to the dealership and diagnosed and was told the ignition switch I sent them was now broken. Total for replacement ignition switch and key plus tow was over $2500 not to mention they had my order for 7 month. This experience was the worst I have ever had in my life it would have been $1500 cheaper if they never touched it. They did come out and give me a key but they did not program my fob. After mutplie times of reaching out they finally showed up on Monday to program my fob but could not because the battery died well they said the next day they come out to fix it and never did. I don't know I’m getting tired of empty promises saying they will come out and then when you try to contact them about why they haven’t come and do a no show they don’t want to answer your texts .
