Thank God! Real bread at affordable prices. Everything else a bakery and restaurant/cafe has to offer: outstanding food and great value. Atmosphere relaxed and unpretentious. Owners are a lovely young couple. An oasis in the desert of Schuylkill County. I moved here 6 months ago and my quality of life would be unbearably negatively impacted without this little "insider" jewel. Definitely worth a visit even if you have to park a block away. Just think: not a shopping mall - worth finding pot of gold at end of rainbow and also supporting struggling locals. Just what I've been looking for. Amazing food, atmosphere, and staff. We went for the French toast bar in Pottsville. My partner ended up getting an off menu item instead because it sounded so good when it was recommended. Definitely lived up to the expectations. Both of our plates were clean at the end of the meal. The coffee was rich and they offered quite a few luxury teas. We went home with some complementary snacks for the table and two loaves of bread. We couldn't resist. One of the nicest, kindest, most customer service oriented bakeries I’ve ever encountered! We came all the way to Pottsville from Texas to visit my grandpa for his 85th birthday and they were closed but selling their bread at a local mansion and market. Upon knocking at the door, owner invited us in and personally called his wife down at the market to put aside a loaf of their reknown sourdough bread just for us.
