We found this place during a Reading to Pottsville train trip 2 years ago. We were so impressed we made the drive a few months back & were once again impressed. We were craving your sandwiches again today so we looked up your hours(open till 7pm)& made the drive from Reading. When we arrived at 5:08 we again saw your hours on the door(open till 7pm)& busy inside. We approached the order screen but were immediately told by an employee “I’m sorry, we’re closed” when we said hours say till 7pm online & on door? Employee said “ we recently changed our hours”. When we said that we drove from Reading based on hours online we got “I’m sorry”. When you change hours, the 1st thing you do is update them online & on site. Furthermore, our order should have been taken after we told employee we drove...

I was craving an italian hoagie and mentioned to an associate as to where to obtain locally. He immediately said Farlows. When I walked in I was greeted and asked if I needed help with their touch screen. I went through ordering and both Sydney and Nate asked if there was any other nuances I wanted on my sandwich. I said go heavy on the vinegar and they both smiled.

As I waited for my sandwich to be made I asked about cucumber salad and Sydney said everyone refers to it as refreshing. I was excited to dig in. Both the sandwich and the cucumber salad were delicious and the cucumber was VERY refreshing.

I have been getting Farlows cold subs for awhile. They are VERY good. Great rolls, lots of meat. yesterday I went out of my comfort zone and ordered the meatball hoagie. I'm not going to lie, my expectations were not too high because take out meatball hoagie really aren't too good. well my hubs and I shared it. I took a bite and was actually shocked. it was delicious! HOMEMADE meatballs, great sauce and cheese. SO GOOD. we also both got the large chef salads...so far I have gotten 3 meals out of it. it is huge and delicious. I'm not even finished it yet and I can't wait to go back for the same! All this, AND the convenience of online ordering, paying, let you know when it will be done, go in and get it. Shop is beautiful and clean. love...
