This hospital was the reason behind my grandfathers death, my cousins unecessary and life crippling and illegal operation, my sisters poor treatment. From ER to OR to Nurses Stations and almost every other entity in this hospital is unprofessional and should have any medical “experience” or license stripped from them especially the ER doctor who looks to be from Asian descent. We had multiple witnesses to her malpractice and malcare, horid attitude, superiority complex, and of course lack of training. Also, it seems if she sense any sort of repercussions or aggression from her lack of skill she thickens her accent and pronounces her name very strangely and different a lot as if to protect herself, but after speaking to other employees we got her name and since we have called her by it clearly so she know we know now who exactly was treating the people and in response she actually showed a little of what passes for bed side manner.
My grandfather was misdiagnosed more times than you can count on two hand in a matter of 5 days, given many different forms of uneccesary or unreasonable treatments, tests, etc.. after running up a HUGE and unhelpful bill of tests and treatments they told us there was nothing more they could do and he was going to die. We immediately had him transferred and within HOURS he was properly dignosed, but sadly by that time is was a low survival chance and he lost the fight he could have won if the hospital would have actually done their jobs. When demanding to see medical records we were bounced around for more than a week and we were yelled at by staff and supervisor a like calling us liars, but with a kinder suggestion, that the people that we last spoke to never said that. At one point we recorded a conversation between us and an supervisor and when faced with aggression from another for calling us liars we played the recording and this supervisor acted as if we threatened to take away their oversized paycheck (for the quality of work they do) and did their job. The medical records lied and were vague and contradicted tons of what we were told by nurses and doctors alike.
My sister was treated like trash there, by the Asian doctor of course, and other staff after admission. When we called upon her SAM casework for help they came ASAP. Behold only after being monitored by a caseworker from SAM that had to log and report everything which could lead to legal repercussions if the hospital didn’t do their job caused the hospital to properly do their jobs...
Also, if you plan to report someone don’t bother doing through the normal chain of command, because the people you NEED to talk to are safely protected behind walls of other employees that “require” you talk to them first and even when unsatisfied with their “help” they will says that’s all they can do to help sorry. For real results talk to the people that will actually lose money without patients. Not the Supervisor of Nurses, Charge Nurses, or any other entity that gets their paychecks regardless of quality or number of patients. The people to talk are people like the Board of Trustees etc.. Use specific names when it comes to doctors and nurses because they will get what’s coming more often than if you make a report to another worker at the hospital despite...
Read moreave them wait in a dark room away fromI would like to know what medical schools the Doctors and nurses have gotten there degrees from ? In the last 48 Hours my son in law and very good friend both were seen at the LVHN east Norwegian St. Both seen for different reasons , My son in law had a temp of 105 degrees. This was how the medical staff at the hospital treated his condition, they stuck him in a room a dark room behind all the other rooms away from other emergency room patients left alone for about 45 min. Finally return to his room gave him a z-pack that is for an respiratory infection. Which was not even the correct diagnosis. Myself and my daughter ended up taking him to a different Branch of LVHN and he was diagnosed with a unary trac infection given the proper antibiotic and released. Now my good friend who I also took down to LHVN east Norwegian St. went down and asked if he can Please be admitted to 5 P he also stated he would like to have his medication adjusted he explained to the nurse his systems we where told to have a seat and someone would be with us shortly we asked how long this would take we where told it was a lengthily process. So as we prepared for this a lady came out and assessed him. The assessment took all but 2 mins. he was then told after the so called assessment to go home and make a appointment with outpatient I asked about prescriptions and I was told he has to find his on doctor for that WOW!! I don't know maybe I'm wrong but I feel If someone comes to a medical facility complaining they are hearing voices, seeing things that are not there and so forth To me that's a cry for help Then man asked for Help and they sent him home that's sad really sad. Now my friend is still hearing the voices and still having delusional thoughts seeing things that are not there scared and confused on what is going on. I feel as though if a person comes asking for help Shouldn't he be helped? I'm not a doctor or a nurse and I don't have any experience in medical field I admit that. I also will I have enough common sense and compassion to at least try to help that individual who comes to me for the help he or she needs, not turn them away like they don't matter. Or h...
Read moreMy dad was very sick a few weeks back. He asked to go to the hospital, which he never does. He went in an ambulance. The hospital put him in a room all alone for hours, with no way to contact anyone. They would not allow me or my sister to go back and see him at all. Strange, considering they did absolutely nothing for him. We took him to a different hospital the next day and found out that his sickness had made him severely dehydrated. This other hospital claimed that they could only do as much as the 1st hospital did, but ended up doing 5 times as much by default. They rehydrated my dad. He was no longer as white as a ghost. My dad could have died due to negligence. The staff and doctors are completely incompetent. The fact that they didn't know to rehydrate this person is pathetic. Everyone that works here should be fired!!! This whole county is severely lacking in terms of medical care. Furthermore, my neighbor down the hall from me caught some kind of infection a while later and ended up in this horrible place. I had to dial 911 for her. They took her by ambulance as well. She left without her shoes. She could barely walk due to being in pain. The people that took her to the hospital insisted they would find a ride home for her, as did the staff at the hospital, which is probably the only reason she went in the first place. She called me at 4am to pick her up because the doctor, after getting done with her, went and told somebody, (A nurse maybe) to tell my neighbor to walk home... She was in her socks and could barely walk at all! God forbid she stepped on a heroin needle, or a piece of glass... This place should be investigated immediately! IF I COULD RATE THIS PLACE NEGATIVE...
