Momma Millies Bakery — Restaurant in Pottsville

To say I’m disappointed would truly be an UNDERSTATEMENT ‼️ I first had a momma millies cupcake at work, someone had brought them in for the staff. I was utterly amazed at how awesome that cupcake was, probably the best I ever had, so I decided to order some for a party. What I received was not what the same as I had tasted at work. The cupcake at work was a regular sized cupcake, the dollop of frosting on the top was light and fluffy perfectly swirled and since it was chocolate peanut butter, a peanut butter cup was on top, and the taste was heavenly. What I received were mini cupcakes, the dollop of frosting on top is hard you need a knife to cut through it !!! The dollops of frosting on the cupcakes are lopsided, and have ridges. ( not smooth like the cupcake I had) The banana cupcakes have an over whelming fake imitation scent and when you open the box that smell almost knocks you over. Seriously, I feel that Walmart could have done a better job. I’m embarrassed to bring these to the party, they belong in a trash can 🗑. Momma pulled off my Wedding Cake for me in no time! I was worried we put off ordering a cake to long. I knew another local bakery we had a sit down with I did not feel 100% confident due to price and tastes when we did the tasting. We went into Momma Millies on a whim because it was local to where we lived and after talking to her I felt so much better. She pulled off the same flavors we asked of the other bakery, a bigger size then them, the icing I wanted that the other bakery couldn't do, and decorations I dropped off for such an amazing price!!! I cannot express enough how affordable she is and fast!! And her cake tasted so fricken good!! We even bought some premade treats when we were in there ordering our cake and they blew us away! Used Millie for my wedding dessert needs and she did not disappoint. Everything was wonderful! Requesting a wedding cheesecake I was a bit worried how it would be executed, but Millie ensured me that it would be perfect, which of course it was! We also purchased her delicious chocolate chip and ricotta cookies, mini cannolis, as well as various cupcakes for our dessert buffet.
