(UPDATED) As bad as Rite Aid used to be. Needed a consult and Pharmacist (old one FROM Rite Aid, big suprise) didn't articulate what meds were interacting and what was going on? She walked up and just said, "Okay yeah, so this med will affect the other one," and looked at me. No medicine names, just deadpan stare at me like I should understand (mind you I was picking up 3). Had to sit there and ask what she was talking about, walk her through the whole schpele just to be told it was the antibiotic that would make my birth control less effective. Kind of important to disclose, glad I asked for clarification and didn't accidentally get pregnant or something. Same transaction I didn't receive a measuring cup with liquid medicine. Get you're busy and burnt out but come on people. Now I have to go back down tomorrow just for a dosage cup and can't take my medicine tonight. Fun.
10/23 IT HAPPENED AGAIN A FEW WEEKS LATER- NO CONSULT. Once again after waiting 10 mintues for the pharmacist they come over, say "Yeah it's your birth control" and try to walk away. When I ask for context I got a casual, "Just be careful" over his shoulder before he returned to work. Since when is this appropriate consultation ettiquette? I don't even know in this instance which medication it was because he ran off so quickly. They also filled the wrong perscription after the last time I made sure at the drop-off counter that they had the correct one on autofill. I am literally doing everything I can to hand hold them doing their own job, even being forced to call my own doctors for authorizations on their behalf, and issues still happen every time I go to the pharmacy. This is so disgusting, and is only allowed to happen because you are the only chain pharmacy in the area now. Do better or go away.
11/12 I don't even have the words. You did it AGAIN. I'm filing a complaint and consulting a lawyer now. You shouldn't...
Read moreI sent in a prescription, and there has been zero communication regarding its status whether it’s received, being filled, or ready for pickup. I’ve called and left multiple voicemails, and out of all of them, I’ve received only one callback. It’s nearly impossible to reach a human on the phone, forcing me to go in person, wasting both time and money, only to find there’s a problem with my prescription or the way it was submitted.
I’ve been with the same doctor for nine years and have mostly used Rite Aid, occasionally Walmart, and never experienced an issue like this. At Rite Aid, I could always reach a person by phone and would receive prompt notifications if there were any problems. I receive none of this from CVS all I get is wasted time and excuses.
Professionalism seems lacking, and management appears disorganized. I’ve raised these concerns with several employees, and it’s always blamed on someone else. This pharmacy experience has been extremely frustrating and unacceptable....
Read moreIts very clean and well organized and the young lady workin when i was there was very helpful and friendly. It really is a lovely store in a great location. I do however a few reasons that kept me from giving 5 stars. They do not have a rest room the public can use, there prices are alittle high, I do understand they have to stay in business so maybe make things more affordable for the average shopper and more ppl would shop (my theory). And last, i was there with a friend that was using the medicare money before it expired and they have stickers on items that are eligible for that program, so we thought there was not very much stuff eligible because only so much had stickers, but it turns out there is quiet alot more you can get, so it would benifit the store greatly i believe if they would try to have more things marked to let you know what...
