Armadilla Wax Works Candles — Local services in Prescott

This year for Valentine’s Day, in addition to other gifts, I bought my wife several candles from Armadilla. When we burned a couple of them, we had difficulty discerning any scent, even standing close to the candle. We didn’t plan on returning them, but we returned to the store so my wife could pick out the free candle to which my earlier purchase entitled her. When we mentioned that we couldn’t really smell any scent from the other candles, the associate was extremely helpful. Rather than take the attitude of, “Hey, it’s not our problem if you can’t smell,” she pointed out that the scents I had chosen were intentionally very subtle, and that each person responds differently to different scents. She suggested that we return the candles which hadn’t worked for us, and she helped us select scents which were stronger (to us, at least). Customer service was absolutely A+, and my wife is happy to have candles that give off the stronger scent that she prefers. I highly recommend...

We rented a cabin outside of Prescott for the three day weekend. I searched kid friendly activities in Prescott and found this gem! The staff was absolutely amazing! They were so attentive to us from the minute we walked in. She quickly explained the store, the best way to experience it and the candle dipping experience. The kids LOVED picking out their candles and dipping them in the different colors and then decorating them with glitter! The young lady was so patient with the kids and very personable!
