If Maryann is at the driveway helping you, just drive to the next Starbucks. Never have I seen a person that is so combative, argumentative, annoying at a Starbucks, and she does it all with a smile on her face.
Drive through machine she can’t hear me. Lady I’m screaming into the machine.
Gives me a tea with one inch left on to fill with tea on my Trenta cup. I ask her to please fill it up to the top. Proceeds to say it’s new company policy, people complain it spills. Breaking news: it’s not. I get my ice separately and tea separately. Trying to maximize my tea on these 5$ cups. Anyway, it’s not company policy.
I ask for a trenta cup of ice, only gives me a venti, to be fair this is new company policy but some Starbucks are nice enough to still give me the trenta cup of ice.
I stopped going there, went to another one, I proceeded to give an explanation to the next Starbucks about how I want the tea up to the top, and asked about the new policy. The lady said there is no policy like that and if you’d like your drink all the way to the top, just say no room.
Do you hear that Maryann? Just say no room. Don’t lie to customers about a new policy, and say people are complaining it’s spilling, blah blah blah. I mean I’m the customer, I’m not complaining about spillage, I’m complaining about you cheating me on the tea pore. Shouldn’t you address my complaint instead of other customers who aren’t ordering what I am.
She’s been rude a few times, this last time was the worst.
People have bad days but I think she was...

I was surprised by the unusually poor service I received. I ordered three drinks, paid, and moved to the pick up area. My name was called and I received one drink. A few more drinks were prepared for the drive through and then the customer who was behind me received his order. A woman asked if I needed anything else and I replied I needed my other two drinks. She asked the preparers and they responded that my drinks were in her line up. Four more drinks for the drive through then I got one of my drinks. Someone else asked if I needed anything and I said I still needed one drink. She checked and said my drink was in the line. A couple more drive through drinks then the man who was second in line behind me received his drinks. Another woman asked if I was waiting for something and I laughed and said yes. She checked and said my drink was next. I told her that I was surprised that my the drinks didn't come out together. She said "We can only make one drink at a time." I explained how many drive through drinks and the two costumers behind me received their orders before me. "We can't make more than one drink at a time." I feel I had a legitimate complaint and that I was blown off. This was not the Starbucks customer service I'm...
Read moreWe quickly ordered at the drive-thru. It wasn't busy at all. Even inside only had a handfull of customers seated, as we saw from the window. We were not greeted but asked to answer the tip question and pay by the male barista, in a flat 'I'm not about this job tone'!!! Yet we selected the $1, for a $3 drink, because in today's society tips are expected not by how well a job is done, and if no tip is given for a bad job then the customer is in the wrong and the barista doesn't learn to do better!
The amount of time it took to get the simple coffee with 1" of cream and 5 sugars on the side (remember this) was way too long for the amount of customers or should I say lack of customers, which BTW is VERY strange for a Starbucks and now I understand why!!!
The coffee was too dark for the 1" of cream to have been correctly added, so additional cream had to be requested, which took, you guessed it, an additional long amount of time to bring!
Do better, Starbucks!!! Also, change your tip question to %!!! It should not be in amounts of $1,...
