This pharmacy is the worst I have ever been to and the least professional by a long shot. I experienced a serious allergic reaction to my normal Adderall prescription I've been on for years. So I thought. This was the first and last time I have ever filled my prescription at Fry's. I knew once i opened the bottle that this was a completely different pill. I took my medication, within 30 minutes I was broken out in hives from my chest to my thighs. My body was on fire and extremely itchy, and my throat was tightening up. I immediately called the pharmacist on duty, he pretty much brushed it off "yeah sounds like an allergic reaction......." I told him I have been on this medicine for years and never once had any issue, and that the medication they gave me looked nothing like what I have always received at Walgreen's. He was zero help and didnt seem to care at all that I could have gone into shock, he just rushed me off the phone and was non responsive. After researching for a few hours I discovered why this medicine was so different, and why I was having such extreme reactions to it. Fry's (and Wal-Mart) now go through Aurobindo Pharm for their generic Adderall and other generic drugs. Why? Because it is the absolute cheapest, as if they aren't making enough money off of the sick already. Aurobindo Pharm has faced 3 different lawsuits for inconsistent dosages of their generic medications. They blamed it on "equipment malfunction" and are STILL MANUFACTURING THE MEDICATIONS SOME OF US DEPEND ON IN CONSISTENT DOSES TO SURVIVE, out of India. For people on high risk medication, that could be all it takes to kill somebody. If you look up Aurobindo Pharm just by google search, you will see literally tens of thousands of patients in the US complaining of very serious side effects from their generic medications that they were on before without any issues, like myself. My doctor told me to immediately stop use, take the RX back to Fry's and bring copy of receipt so that I could get a new script to take to a different pharmacy that actually carries reputable manufacturers so that I could get the Teva manufactured generic that I've always been on. I called the pharmacist on duty, this time it was Sue. Explained the entire situation and what my doctor told me to do, and that I needed to return this drug so that I could obtain my normal prescription. I spent $76 on medication that I need in order to function and perform my job and day to day life, and the only thing this medicine was doing is making me feel absolutely terrible and break out in hives/painful rash all over. She was extremely rude to me and told me "No, i'm sorry youre having buyer's remorse but I will NOT take the medication back" and then proceeded to tell me they switched to Aurobindo because its the cheapest they can get (Hmm i wonder why?!) To be spoken to in such a way by a medical "professional" for simply not wanting to continue a drug that was harmful to my body astonished me. These are the people we expect to care about our health although I'm not sure why, from the pharmacist playing god with my medication and treating me like a drug addict, to the manufacturer they use (Aurobindo) that is still in business making billions to keep us ill. Pretty dusgusting that Fry's is so greedy they would go to the worst reputation manufacturer knowing they have been sued numerous times for supplying dangerous and inaccurate doses to us just to rake in even more money at the cost of all of us. I will never come to this pharmacy again. Each and every one of them should be ashamed...
Read moreSystems down today. Very busy office. To be honest, I understand being busy, but their customer service is lacking. It's not a hugee deal, but I believe good customer service is important.
I asked a lady there today if I could drop off my prescription at her specific window- so it's pretty obvious I don't go to the pharmacy often. She said yes and then asked me if they are my usual pharmacy. I replied, "I believe so" and she looked at me like I was dumb for not being sure.
Honestly, I just requested my prescription to be sent to that Frys as they are the closest pharmacy and take my insurance. Not sure why I was getting looks..
**After posting this review, and picking up my medication, I won't be coming back here.. This is why I don't like writing reviews. The same lady made me feel a bit uncomfortable upon picking up my prescription. "It's her guys." "I'll be praying for you." "Where are your family businesses at?" "Focus...
Read moreI went there to pick up my prescription as I have multiple times. The doctor that was present, who I wont name, Mike, informed me about a new law that has passed and that I will not be able to pick up my prescription of suboxone . That was shocking to hear especially since I accompanied somebody else the night before and the prescription was filled no problem ! I asked if there was any way I could try another pharmacy and was told it would not matter, nobody would be able to fill my prescription. I left resentful , made a few phone calls, and picked up my prescription from CVS Pharmacy. Thanks for nothing Doctor Mike ! 0 stars for Frys 5 stars to CVS for efficiency and quickness. I will never use Frys...
