2 stars, mainly because of the soda. The food typically tastes exactly how taco bell is supposed to taste. Minus the chalupa which keeps getting worse and worse. It's always dry and usually barely warm but the main issue is: Drinks. Why can't they get this right? I've lived in Prescott for a year and go to this location 1-4 times a month. Every single time there is an issue with their soda/ice machine. Week after week I keep expecting whoever it is that is in charge of the soda and ice machine to finally get it right. There have been multiple times that there was no ice from the machine and no ice from the machine at the drive through. In turn that makes the soda "warm" because the ice in the machine also chills the soda. But the main problem is the soda doesn't taste right It's either watered down or there's not enough carbonation. They never ever taste correct. Whoever is in charge of drinks either has issues with their taste buds or they don't actually test the machine to see what the different sodas taste like. One of the workers twice has seen the look on my face and offered to get me the Dr. Pepper from their drive thru machine and it is better but it's still not right. It's about 80% close. I think she actually knows the public machine is crap but doesn't have the authority to do anything or no one listens to her, who knows. Luckily there's a Circle K very close that I can get a perfect drink from. Maybe they should walk across the street to see how their machines work and taste so they can understand. There's really no point in providing drinks with the combo if the drinks suck. Please fix this. It's been a year. Maybe more.
Edited my review 4/15/25. I'm convinced they are diluting the soda on purpose to save money. Every couple months the Dr. Pepper doesn't work so someone has to fix it. The week it gets fixed the Dr. Pepper tastes perfect. But by the next week it's back to being watered down and it'll stay diluted for months until it breaks again and the whole process starts again. DP is the 2nd most popular soda in the US. Coke is #1 but they don't have Coke. So that means that DP is most likely the #1 soda at this location. It ruins my experience everytime I come here.
Another update 9/16/25. Drinks are the worst they've ever been, carbonated drinks are pretty much water after at this point. This just be a cost savings tactic so they don't have to change the caramel bags out as often.
Lowered my rating because they don't...
Read moreIf you've read any of my other reviews, I'm biased against fast food but I'm an honest person. I believe the best reviewers have an open mind yet are completely honest. With that said, I was surprised as the food was HOT not spicy but temperature wise. I don't know about you but I like my food to be hot. It makes me feel as if my food was freshly made. Who knows, maybe it was just nuked extra long. Either way, good job. The taste was good. My only complaint is when you order a burrito, why is it that half of it has everything you ordered on it. It's so weird. They could fill their burritos or tacos up more as all the tacos seemed half full hence the 3 stars. Had they filled them, I'd have given them 4 stars. It's hard for me to give 5 stars as everything has to be right. Again, I'm biased as I know fast food is NOT good for you or for your health. So, don't eat any fast food regularly. With that said, if you are in a hurry, hungry and craving this kind of food, it wasn't the worst. Actually, it was good. Depending on what you order, the price can get a little ridiculous. Especially when you can go to some restaurants and get a much better meal for close to the same price. Plus, most of the time the meals at a restaurant are big portions so you could share one meal and save money. We eat to live not live to eat. For me, I like variety. Therefore, if I share meals, I eat less but more often. Plus, eating less and more meals doesn't cause me to feel stuffed or lethargic. What you put into your body does matter. I used to be a personal trainer and it amazed me how people would take care of their homes, their cars, their outer appearance but failed to take care of the one thing that houses their soul. Your body has to last you a lifetime. So, take care of it! You won't regret it if you do...

I've been going to this Taco Bell still for over 6 years. You can't beat the price for the amazing food they also give you! I would say if any Taco Bell represented the ideal Taco Bell good experience. It's this location!
The restaurant is always clean, and the food is absolutely amazing. Now, there is one thing that they still haven't learned in my last review from 2020. The customer service.
There's a few select people here who are very genuine and extremely nice. And that's all that I personally ever ask for in being served. You don't need to offer me a cup of water to wait, or have some phenomenal conversation skills while taking my order. But I really don't want to be treated no different if I had walked up to the self-order kiosk in the store. The older gentleman who manages the store simply needs to be fired, or retired. I'm sure I'm not the only person in town who feels the same, and I'm never treated right whenever he serves me. Impatient, rude, obnoxious, and grumpy. Its rubbed off on a few other people at the store who work there. And its really unacceptable.
I won't be as generous as I was last year with my review. As while sure you could argue "well as long as you get good food fast and efficient that's all that matters right?". Sure you could be right. If you enjoy living miserably. I want to feel a sense of humanity and socializing from the people who want to serve me. And like I said, you don't need to treat me like a king! But a smile...
