Thomas Sweet Chocolate — Local services in Princeton

I went here trying to buy a box of chocolate as a gift. I asked the worker if there was an ingredient list for the assortment box since the person I’m buying for has dietary restrictions, and she told me no, they didn’t have that. That seems a bit bizarre, and risky considering the number of people who have some sort of allergy or dietary restriction. I asked if she could tell me if any of the items in the assortment included gelatin, and she couldn’t tell me for sure. How do you not know what ingredients are used in your chocolate? I’ve never been to any place that sells food and not be able to find out what’s in the food, even if it means I have to look through the ingredient list myself. It would be prudent to make this information available to customers and employees. I wish I could have bought chocolate here since it really is a cute...

I am visiting a friend and she insisted if I want something sweet that Thomas Sweet is the place to go! I see they have an ice cream shop (which I plan on stopping by tomorrow) but tonight it was a chocolate night. As soon as I walked in I was greeted immediately and asked if there’s anything I needed help with do not hesitate to ask. I felt comfortable right away. The smell as soon as the door opens was just Devine. The young lady at the front was very helpful, knowledgeable and took her time explaining everything to me and was patient with my questions. I will absolutely be back the next time I visit. The coffee cream truffle was a win for me!

Friendly and awesome staff, wonderful chocolates (maybe even the BEST in the world!), cute location in Palmer Square, and a Princeton favorite/must! Thomas Sweet is always sweet to its customers! There is no restroom (the chocolate store is small) but Winberries and Nassau Inn are close by with public restrooms. Also, don't confuse this location with the Ice Cream store down further in Nassau Street! They are both Thomas Sweet but two different sweets! This chocolate store has just about everything in milk and dark! My favorite are the meltaways, nut clusters, and truffles! My wife is crazy for the Raspberry Meltaway and Mint Oreo Truffle!
