After going through $750 in boots in a year and a half. And spending $250 of my own money on insoles and toe guards from the leather coming off and not being waterproof anymore. I finally had to throw all three pairs in the garbage. My feet just hurt too much to wear them anymore. The insides of the liners will wear out in the first month and start eating up your socks. So now you will be going though $20 in socks a month just wearing the boots. They say they warranty the products and guarantee satisfaction. But they never follow througthrso after $1,000 in boots and accessories to make them more comfortable. I ended up going to fleet farm and buying a pair of sketchers safety toe arch support boots. The pain in my feet is completely gone after two weeks. This is for $120 pair of sketchers and no required $80 costom insoles like the redwing boots require. I will never wear another pair of redwing boots again. if your work gives you a voucher for redwing shoes. Sell it half price and get you some sketchers. Or atleast try one of the other brands they sell. Trust me. Your feet will suffer. The sketchers on the right. A lot less clunky. A lot lighter. Fixed my feet pain caused buy the redwings in two weeks after a year and a half in the redwing. Throw the company voucher in the garbage. Buy your own sketchers for $120. You will end up spending more than that in insoles and repairs for the redwings anyway. Alleast refund the money i spent on accessories just to throw the boots in the garbage and have to buy sketchers for $120. I spent enough for insoles and toe guards to make the boots wearable out of my own money. On top the company voucher. I could have bought a whole other pair of boots. Just to have to actually buy a new pair of boots and throw all that money in...
Read moreI went in to purchase a pair of 875’s. Chris, was the first sales person that I worked with and he did a phenomenal job. I ended up buying a size that was too big, But Chris spoke with me and made me feel as if it was no problem whatsoever to exchange them. He ended up ordering me a new size that he believed would fit. Something that many should understand is that Red Wing boots are Definitely boots you want to try on in store and it may take a couple of attempts before you get the perfect fit.
I went in to pick up the new size that was ordered for me, and I worked with Clay who I believe is a manager. He made my experience well worth it with his transparency and great customer service!
I live in Mankato where we have a Red Wing store, but I was not impressed with my visit the last time I went in. My hour and five minute drive up to this Prior Lake location was well worth it. I plan to make it every time I need a new pair! Thanks again,...

I am not a regular customer of Red Wing Shoes.. With that being the case the 2 times that I choose to go I spent way more money for a pair if work boot then they should really be worth. Like I said First off is very true.. This is not just shoe store . When u walk in you look around with out a person trying to sell you everything. When u find something that you like a sales person helps you but not just getting them from the back ... They have a hole routine that goes one an it is really cool.. first u get a 3D map of your feel . They go over every little thing about your feet an then find the best fitting pair of boots an there is no comparison anyplace on the planet... i have been gifted some odd feet an They make my feet feel great 👍 12 Stars.. You Pay more but you get every cent of it in quality...
