Best Foot Spa — Local services in Prosper

So I typically don’t give out low reviews unless it’s warranted. I have 80 plus reviews and I think I have only given low reviews twice. So I tried this place with my sister who came from out of town, it is walking distance from my home so I said hey let’s try it out. My sister received the 1/2 30 min foot/60 min body massage. I got the 60 min foot. We walked in the room and I noticed there are spaces for 4-5 people. So the gentlemen that started to service me started with the head massage and placed my feet in a bucket with water, which was lukewarm at best for my feet. So as he starts I notice that the workers were talking to each other, bringing other clients in and it was not a quiet experience AT ALL! You literally hear EVERYTHING! Then after the scalp and shoulder massage the gentlemen switched and a lady started massaging my feet. It was weird, but I will say she did a very good job, which is why I gave 2 stars. My sister said that if she lived here she would not return because it was way too loud and she didn’t get the full body massage when she did the combo which the body massage was an hour. She said that she did not get any leg massage, and didn’t get any real massage even for her upper body. I am not sure if this was just Anna’s day we came in on, and why it was so loud. (We came Friday December 27th 2024) I think if they stop talking so much, stop placing multiple people in one room it would be better. The guy who I started with also smelled of smoke really bad you knew he was a smoker. I would also recommmed they NOT use the same scalp combo on the same person. Unless these things are put in place I will def not be returning. It is true, you get what you pay for........... I have no reason to sit here and waste my time trying to bash your company. My advice to you is do BETTER. I also said your employee smelled like smoke, it is discriminatory for you to not have someone work at your business because they smoke. I said he SMELLED of smoke, I did not say he was smoking. That is his right if he chooses to smoke. However, maybe add some cologne so that he does not smell of smoke. Now...

I appreciate that they were able to accommodate me so quickly as a walk-in. With that being said, this is my third visit and it will be my last. The first time was okay, I scheduled an appointment and the young lady was very late and rushed the service but she listened when I asked her to concentrate on specific areas. The second time, I got a 30 minute reflexology massage which was also okay, but it was difficult communicating with the gentleman to the point he was replying “good” each time I asked him to apply a bit more pressure. But he never actually applied more pressure.

This last visit was impromptu and since it had been a while I thought it may be okay to give it a try. It was really odd because the setup was different, there are a lot of curtains separating the beds, but it definitely does not feel private or tranquil at all. It wasn’t like that in the past and I understand the desire to want to accommodate more people but this type of setup felt very bootleg.

I got the full body with the detox foot bath and they really don’t give you time to actually read your detox “results”. He showed me the color, then showed me a chart and then immediately told me to go lay down on another bed for the massage. Umm…okay. And there’s a towel over your eyes during this detox process so who’s to say I didn’t put my feet in some water that already had color in it? Just kidding but I do think they could do a better job with this service.

The massage was equivalent to someone putting lotion on you for an hour. Many requests to apply more pressure, he said okay but didn’t. He moved so fast throughout the entire process. When he was applying the hot stones, I started counting to see how long he was using them. On one leg, he used it for 52 seconds and the other leg, he used it for 36 seconds before putting them up. There were no actual massages performed, just lathering my back and legs up with oil and rubbing back and forth until the oil absorbed.

If you are someone who gets massages regularly, I would not recommend this establishment. It’s best suited for perhaps quick, in and out services not for relaxation or...

Disappointing Experience – Would Not Recommend

We visited this place today for a massage—one person got a hot full-body massage, and the other opted for a foot and head massage. The total cost, including the tip, came to $122, but unfortunately, the experience was far from relaxing or worth the price.

The service was extremely poor. Despite repeatedly asking for more pressure, the massage therapists failed to apply any proper pressure or target key pressure points. The calf muscles were completely ignored, and the scalp massage left hair tangled in knots, making it difficult to manage afterward.

Communication was another major issue—the staff did not understand our requests properly, making it frustrating to get the service we wanted. Additionally, the male massage therapist did not perform the massage correctly, which further added to the disappointment.

The ambiance was not welcoming or relaxing—the place felt dimly lit and uninviting, and overall, we did not feel comfortable or safe during the session.

Given the poor quality of service, lack of skill, and uncomfortable environment, I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a proper massage experience. Definitely not worth the money and won’t...
