DO BETTER!!! I had the cashier ring my groceries up at the register after unloading my groceries onto conveyor belt. I loaded the bagged groceries into my cart. She then used the handheld scanning gun to scan my 8-pack gatorades. But she scanned the Gatorades with scan gun as they were still on the conveyor belt. She picks them up across the scanning screen and double charges again as she handed them to me. I asked her to double check not to double charge on each scan of my Gatorades. So I noticed that she did make the effort to avoid extra charging. So after paying for my groceries I unloaded them into my truck and gut feeling told me to double-check my receipt so I did and noticed that she rang up three Gatorades instead of two Gatorades. So I went back into the store and at the exit door was the very cashier standing there checking other people's receipt and I brought it to her attention and she was adamant about not charging extra on a Gatorade. This was a middle eastern lady that couldn't speak very good English but she decided to still argue with me. Then another employee had noticed that there was something out of place, maybe it's because I was not wearing pajamas and house slippers but either way the other employee came over and I explained to her and she took me to the service desk and had me wait in line at customer service rather than take care of the refund herself or with the manager. So I asked if I could just go get another Gatorade and call it even rather than wait in line for a refund and she said yes.... Hey Walmart if you're going to have employees hound people at the exit doors to check that people aren't walking out without paying then you need to own up for to your own mistakes when a customer brings your mistake to...
Read moreFirst night going to this new Walmart thatâs only a mile from my house. I was excited and had a good shopping experience until I ran into the store employee Aya, who works at the front checking receipts. She asked me for my receipt and I said the cashier didnât give me one. She replied, âWell, I need to see it.â I told her she could go get it from the cashier if she wanted, and she said, âNo â Iâm not about to walk all the way over there. If youâre stealing, trust me, they will get you.â
Itâs ironic: if it would be that easy to catch me stealing, why ask to see the receipt in the first place? They should make it a habit to ensure every customer has a paper copy to show at the door, and she shouldnât have responded that way. I donât want to sound like that kind of guy, but I live in a home thatâs worth over a million dollars just down the street in Frisco. She needs to understand the location and not assume Iâm stealing because I didnât have a receipt in hand. This isnât Denton or some rough area of Dallas. If anyone looks sketchy enough to steal, itâs Aya â with her neck tattoo and poor attitude. I wish Walmart would pay employees to scan groceries to reduce theft, rather than assigning them the role of glorified security guards. Sheâs lucky my wife...
Read moreI been shopping at Walmart for years, and when I heard a new one opened not too long ago, I wanted to go check it out. But honestly, the experience was really bad. The customer service was terrible, and some of the people working there were super rude. There was this older Asian guy who was especially rude. He was yelling at one of his coworkers because there was some issue with the register. I even told him it was totally fine, that I didnât mind waiting, but he just kept going off on her. It felt like he was just looking for a reason to yell. It made things really uncomfortable. Whatâs worse is that this wasnât even the first time I had a bad run in with him. I talked to him once before to ask a simple question, and he was really short with me basically ignored me and started talking into his headset. He didnât even bother to answer my question. After that, I just decided Iâm not going back there. The vibe there is really bad, and the customer service overall is just awful. Honestly, I wouldnât recommend anyone go there itâs just...
