Read moreMy best friend, my daughter and I went in for an early dinner. I've always wanted to try hibachi but after our experience I can honestly say I'd prefer my food cooked in the kitchen. For starters service was less than 1 star. When we came in we were advised there is a 10 min wait for hibachi. No biggie I asked for the bathroom and was directed to the bathrooms. The women's bathroom was out of order and I had to use the men's bathroom. There was no lock on the door so I was worried someone would come in. I feel I should have been advised when I asked for the bathroom of the situation I would have had one of my party come stand watch for me. When we were taken to out table we were seated with another black family, a lady and her son. We were automatically assumed to all be together but we were not. Also seated with us was a white family. We were brought out drinks as appetizers but only the white family was given chopsticks we had to ask. When drinks needed refilled the waiter also white came twice and only asked the white family if they wanted refills we had to ask for refills. When we asked for a manager she came and we explained we would like to fill as part of the dinner as well. She said ok and walked off. Eventually we were served ok but the initial experience was already ruined at this point. Then chef came and started cooking he was throwing food across the platform which was not ok. I ordered 10 pc shrimp and he dropped one of them on my shirt which then went to the florr. He acted like nothing happened. He was throwing rice on the other black ladies child and proceeded to squirm the liquid stuff on him from the bottle. We came to eat dinner not wear it. At the end of the dinner the white family was cashed out and left we were just still sitting waiting on someone to give us our ticket. I will not be back 10 out of 10 I don't recommend. As the other lady stated we were trying not to be those ppl but it was evident we were not getting a good customer...
Read moreI called to make a reservation for 13 people and was told “no problem.” When we got there the woman at the front, I’m assuming is the manager, was so rude and said they couldn’t seat us because we were still waiting on 2 people. I told her that was fine. We had 6 kids under the age of 7 waiting with us. She says the kids can’t sit in the chairs next to the bars so I removed them from the chairs and apologized and then she looks at me and rolls her eyes and goes, “I guess we can just seat you now.” When we are shown to the hibachi table they had only one grill for 13 people. I said this isn’t enough space, we needed to have two grills. The waitress let me know they only had 2 cooks that night. More than half of my party was placed behind the cook and couldn’t see. Then the manager hovered around my table the majority of the evening, I’m honestly not sure why but was just eyeing my group the entire time we were there. It was extremely uncomfortable. When the cook was placing food on plates, he had to turn around to take food across to the other people and was dropping steak on the floor. Wasn’t his fault, he was just as confused as to why there wasn’t two grills going for this large of a party. I paid almost $600 for this dinner for everyone and honestly it was the worst experience for the majority of my party. If they could not accommodate this large of a party that should’ve been communicated to me via the initial phone call. I have never encountered such rudeness and a complete lack of service from a hibachi place before, I was truly shocked. Can’t say I would ever bring a larger...
