Not only is wedding planning itself extremely stressful but the added stress from fit for a Queen in beckley from 3 of the guys outfits that were rented not fitting was an absolute mess. I’m not sure how an outfit comes in 3X too big in the shirt and the pants with a huge hole in them but I feel like that’s unacceptable, and then to be told that it would come in the day of the wedding an hour before it was time for them to be at the venue and dressed… the other guys pants were about 4inches too short and the third guys pants were about 2-3 sizes too big and his shirt was extremely too short in arm length, to which he had to wear the pants that were way too big on him and go out and buy a brand new shirt.. I would never go back to fit for a Queen if I ever have another event for the simple fact of how terrible it was to deal with all of this plus the stress of the wedding, even though the staff was nice. Also would like to add since you replied back, the groomsmen did not send his measurements in he came in and got measured and was not charged right and had already left to go back out of town and I had to go in and have them fix what they charged him for but they measured him themselves… I’m not sure where that misinformation came from because every guy came in and got fitted IN STORE. he also didn’t come in the day of the event to pick it up, he went the day before due to him being in the military. The boy who came in the day of is the one who had to have his overnighted because his pants had a hole and his shirt was way too big.. I can’t help if they yelled at your staff considering how much trouble we have had and how much back and forth running they had to do to fix someone...
Read moreI think I should share an experience that I had at this store, that will maybe help someone else out. As a plus sized girl it is already hard enough to find a prom dress, but my experience here was absolutely awful. When I came in, I asked where the larger dress were, and an employee simply said “over there.” The staff overall was extremely unhelpful and somewhat rude to my mom and I, but seemed to help the other, non plus sized girls (that came in after us) just fine. The plus sized selection was minimal and ridiculously priced. I did try on a few dresses, after hunting down an employee and asking her to show me where the dressing rooms were. As I tried the dresses on and came out to show my mom, there was an older man sitting in a chair by the dressing room who kept staring at me, which made me uncomfortable. I found a dress and considered buying it, but it needed to be hemmed, so my mom asked if the store offered that, to which an employee rudely told her we would have to find somewhere else to do that. After all that happened, I left the store without a dress, crying and having a mild panic attack. Definitely would NOT RECOMMEND this store to any...
Read moreGirls that are a “small size” i wouldn’t go here. Got nothing but very mean attitude when I walked in. As a somewhat bigger girl, I recommend going to beehive (in oak hill) for formal/prom dresses. They are SUPER nice and don’t judge you. They will literally help you find the right dress. Fit for a queen, isn’t for all queens. ❤
My 2023 prom was perfect no help from Fit for a queen. Hope y’all’s service...
