This has been the worst experience I've ever had at a dealership. I bought my truck in July of 2024, from Zeigler Ford, under the pretense it was gold certified. It supposedly had a 21 point inspection. HA! Almost 8k miles and 4 months later, the rear differential fails due to having no fluid and causing the differential to blow out. I had my truck in for routine maintenance and an inspection for leaks at Webb Ford 30 days prior to to this incident. They claim they saw no leaks. I personally checked the ground under my vehicle routinely and never saw any leaks. After speaking with an independent mechanic last week he informed me that the leak would have been minute and unable to be seen by an untrained eye and this is something that just doesnt happen over night and takes months if not over a year to happen. Ford service techs should be trained and able to see leaks. Especially when it went through a "21 POINT" inspection. Webb Ford denied the warranty when i initially had it towed thereas it was the closet. I paid over 500 for tow and diagnostic. After denial, I contacted Daniel who ensured if I brought it to Zeigler that it would be taken care of. Another 600 in tows and diagnostic fees. It was denied. Again. AND the repair is 6500. Amanda, while seeming nice, was of no assistance. The best she could do was give me a .00056 discount which dropped the price to 5800. If i cant trust you to sell me a reliable vehicle or honor the warranty, WHY would i trust you with repairs? I contacted corporate which ran me in circles. I understand the language in the warranty and understand the loophole of "damage resulting from a loss of fluid". My stance is that this is something that doesnt happen in the short amount of time i had the truck, especially after having it inspected 30 days prior "FOR LEAKS". The rear had to be leaking when sold to me or near empty. A failure on the part of Zeigler. Webb Ford failed by not seeing the leak. A complete failure on Fords part. There has to be some integrity when conducting business. While I don't agree with what Luigi Mangioni did to the health care CEO, I understand the emotion behind his actions. People get fed up with being screwed, however, violence is never the answer. Understand that people spend their hard earned money to buy vehicles that they expect to last for a period of time before having issues. We aren't millionaires. Most Americans live check to check. Meanwhile Jim Farley makes 26 million a year on the sweat and tears of common people spending their money with Ford hoping to get a good vehicle. I even tried to email him to no avail. Ive recently learned 2019 F150s have a few rear end issues and a recall for failures so im sure this isnt the first time Ford has heard of rear end failures such as this. Zeigler is not a reputable dealership and there is no integrity in what you do. The right thing to do would have been to honor the warranty. Not try to rip me off for another 6500. I advise no one to buy from this dealership and or trust that they will honor...
Read moreNowadays you don't see customer service like you used to. So-Called customer service reps move you along and really do not take any pride in their work. This was definitely not the case with the team at Ziegler Ford.
I bought a truck from Ziegler GNC that happened to be a used Ford F-150. A couple months after I purchased the truck a well-known issue (cam phasers) started rattling , And the truck needed service.
Ziegler Ford is quite a drive from me so I called some local Ford dealerships first to see if they can get me in and use the extended warranty that I purchased with the vehicle. Every dealership that I called seemed bothered and passive.
So I decided to go ahead and call Ziegler Ford.
Amanda, the service writer picked up the phone and I informed her that the dreaded cam phaser rattle was happening with my truck. Within moments after taking my VIN she informed me that she could have all of the work done no questions asked, and zero expense to me. This would be through a Ford tsb bulletin that actually was expiring for my truck in 2 weeks. She let me know that she can get my truck in early next day to get the work done.
From the multiple dealerships that I called prior, not one person asked any of these qualifying questions or dug in to try to help me.
When I dropped off the truck, Amanda was incredibly welcoming and greeted me with a smile. Throughout the few days Amanda would stay in touch with me and leave me voicemails about the progress of my vehicle.
When it was time to pick up the vehicle, I drove down after the service department was closed. When I started my truck up the vehicle had some stumbling issues, but cleared itself as it sat there and warmed up. Being a little nervous regarding the stumbling issue and me having some other questions about the work that was done on the truck, I did not want to take the vehicle home until it was looked over again.
Being about 25 minutes before the dealership actually closed I was a little nervous since I was dropped off and I lived over an hour away.
Johnny, the sales manager jumped into action And gave me a loaner. He informed me that he would make sure personally that the truck will get looked over again first thing in the morning. He went above and beyond helping me out right before close, and was apologetic that I was having concerns regarding the work done on my truck.
The morning after Johnny reached out to me And let me know that the team is looking over my truck again to make sure that everything is perfect.
I also received phone calls from Amanda informing me of the status of my vehicle and letting me know that they were going to Make sure that everything is 100% perfect.
I cannot stress enough how blown away I am by the level of customer service that this dealership provided to me. They really went above and beyond with everything. My truck will continue to be serviced here as will my family's Ford vehicles moving forward.
You just don't see this type of customer service anymore. Thank you,...
Read moreI was an out of state buyer of a ford maverick. I put a 1000 dollar down payment on the vehicle. I advised the sales person I would be financing through a commercial bank. He assured me the vehicle would be held for me while I was getting the financing put together. That was Thursday. I spoke with my lender funding was all set for Monday. On Saturday 8 pm the sales manger Johnny called to tell me they sold the vehicle and my deposit was not to hold the vehicle. He stated that the buyer was financing the vehicle through them so they decided to sell it. And that my deposit did not hold the vehicle. I will never buy a company vehicle from them. Very disappointed that they will not honor a deposit and sell a vehicle that I bought I trailer to go get. They do not value out of state customers. Stay away they are very shady. Update Johnny was supposed to refund my deposit on Monday by 1 pm. Finally today they got my info and told me it would be refunded in 5 to 7 days. They took the deposit in less than 20 minutes but it is going to take 5 to 7 days to refund. The cashier I talk to on the phone was unable to process the refund. They said they would call me once it is refunded. I guess I have to wait and see. Hopefully they will do the right thing.Update I have reached out to a different manager took two days for him to call me back. He was very professional and nice to talk to. He was very surprised that the vehicle was sold with a down payment on it and was shocked that a manager would call an employee the little girl in the front. Said he would have a different person call me but that...
