Had to change my initial review from 5 stars, to 1. Went in to buy ammo for a range visit. I had intended on buying 200 rounds of .223, 200 rounds of 9mm, 80 rounds of .308, and 400 rounds of 7.62x39. All of which was in my basket. There were multiple people meeting us there, so that explains the high number of ammunition...not like I have to justify my purchase. A manager approached me and told me I needed to hurry and make my purchase because I made some customers nervous. I asked him what he meant, as I was not open or even conceal carrying. He said multiple people felt uneasy because I had a lot of ammo in my basket. I thought he was joking, but sadly, he was not. When I told him I still had a little more shopping to do, he seemed bothered, so I proceeded to finish up my shopping. That same manager and another employee were behind on my flanks, following me. Now, I felt uneasy being there, so I made eye contact with both of them, and walked away, leaving my basket. I went up to the register, and turned in my rewards card. Will never go back to that place. Sportsman Warehouse is down the street, and they have a way better selection of ammo and priced way better. They also don't mistreat customers minding their own business, trying to...
Read moreCustomer service in the shoe dept is non-existent. I came in to look for running shoes, and was ignored by a sales girl standing literally 6 ft away from me for a full 10 mins, so i left. I thought Id give it another try a couple weeks later and THE EXACT SAME THING HAPPENED! The salesgirl pretty much just wiped down shelves or something, 6ft away from me and another lady needing help, and was ACTIVELY TRYING to ignore customers. We had both been trying to make eye contact and wave her down, but to no avail... this chick was obviously ignoring us. I figured again that I wasnt going to get helped, so I rummaged through the stacked boxes they had out, and there was nothing in my size (Never being asked if I could be helped, as you have already correctly assumed). I did this for about 10 mins then left... The other lady got tired of being ignored too and left just before i did. There were other salespeople that seem more attentive, but hiring an emo 17-year old to help customers... maybe dont. But I found the same shoes online for waaayy cheaper anyway, so maybe it all worked out...
Read moreReturned a pair of Nike AirMax only to be told by the manager I can’t return them. I already contacted customer service in which they said they were returnable. The young manager with long black hair (or maybe the greeter) told the cashier to hand me the original shoes back and said we aren’t taking them back. They weren’t worn and just purchased 5 days ago. The manager told me I must’ve tried exchanging them too many times. I told her no this was the only time. Again she said we aren’t exchanging them. I reminded her of her return policy and they had to. She said no we don’t. I told her I already talked to customer service and they told me if they gave me a hard time to call cooperate and remind them of the return policy. The manager said call customer service. They won’t do anything. The nice young cashier called customer service and guess what. They had to exchange my shoes. Hmmm why do managers act like it’s their store lol. Learn your return policy. Terrible that I had to tell her 5 times that they are eligible for return....
