It was hard for me to write this review because I still have mixed feelings about this particular location. In a positive light, this location more or less introduced me to the world of vaping. I say “more or less” because I feel that the first time I entered the store, I had to ask most of the questions (which I barely knew which questions to ask) than the employee actually giving me detailed breakdowns on all the different types of vaping pens and oils. The employee acted more like “Just tell me what you want?” than “How can I help you make the best decision on how to start vaping”.
In another instance, I had purchased some new coils for my vape pen and was not even informed on how to replace them correctly, so I pretty much burned through two of the pack of five learning how to first prepare a coil to prevent it from burning up. As a novice vaping consumer, this information should be given out anytime someone purchases coils instead of assuming EVERYONE knows what they are doing.
Since I started vaping about a year ago, I spend around $50 a month on oils and coils at this location. I know it’s not record breaking, BUT I still somewhat feel like a regular at this location. Which brings me to the proverbially “straw that broke the camel’s back”. Today I was running a little late getting out of work and this particular location closes at 7:00 PM. I raced through Pueblo trying to beat that time and when I realized I might be late and arrive around 7:02 PM, I quickly called them to see if they could stay open for just five more minutes. I talked to an employee named “Mike” and told him I was a few streets away and just wanted to buy some oil and asked if they could just give me a couple more minutes past 7:00 PM. He told me he had to ask his manager and ten seconds later he came back and told me the manager stated they close at 7:00 sharp and that I had to get there before that or the doors would be closed. I couldn’t believe it, but knowing I wouldn’t make it I had no choice but to turn around and just go home.
I understand a business has hours of operation and I know the employees want nothing more than to close the doors after a long day and go home, BUT as a business major and business owner myself, I would never tell a customer I WILL NOT keep my doors open for an extra five minutes to help them and send them home happy. I literally asked them for a few extra minutes of their time to buy some oil and I was told “have a nice evening sir”.
So it goes without saying, I will now look for another vaping business to buy my oils here in Pueblo and will no longer visit...
Read moreThis was my 2nd attempt at trying to buy a vap that wouldn't leak all the time so I went to the store right next to the fair grounds and spoke to Ryan. Ryan hooked me up with a great package as I didn't wanna spend to much. I live in la junta and when I got home I noticed my new vap was leaking and thought here we go again. I called the store and spoke to Ryan again and he told me it was probably the coil that came with unit. The unit came with 2 coils and since I was new to this type of unit Ryan went way out of way and actually used facetime to walk me through putting in the new coil now this is where this shop and Ryan are the best ever to deal with. Ryan said when I came back he would give me a bigger tank and new coils. this surprised me. When I showed backup to the store Ryan was there and not only did he give me a bigger tank and new coils but also hooked me up with a big bottle of vap juice for all my problems. This blew my mind because the 1st time I bought a vap from a different store and company I went and showed them how bad the vap leaked and they just said all sales are final. this really pissed me off. so of course when I bought this 2nd unit from Ryan at vapor source and had a leak I expected the same would happen but TRUST ME DONT GO ANYWHERE ELSE! Go to Vapor Source ask for Ryan cause this the greatest employee I've ever met! You can buy vape gear at a lot of places, but unless you get the right gear for your needs it's worthless. The associates at this store are extremely knowledge and willing to hear about your lifestyle and vaping habits to help you choose what's right for you. This is an invaluable service to those of us who don't spend hours a day keeping up with the fast moving vape industry.
This morning I stopped by on my way to work and got a new mod and tank. It's been a few months since I've bought vape gear and I was greeted with the a huge assortment of mods and tanks I'd not seen before. Thankfully, I was also greeted by an associate with a deep understanding of vaping.
This gentleman was super helpful in getting me going on a set up that was PERFECT for my job and home habits. He was so patient listening to my needs! He even got it when I described my picky flavor preferences! Ha! Then he took the time to set me up fully so I could enjoy my vape on the road to work! Yay!
