Where to begin... Wednesday a call was made to make a reservation for a party of 18 for Friday at 8:00pm, we were planning a surprise going away party. We were told that it wouldn't be a problem and could accommodate two tables next to each other. Perfect. We all start arriving, and waited as the tables were getting ready. Waiting. Waiting. Okay, one table was ready, however the other table still had guests that should be finished and leaving soon. Okay... As the rest of our party was still arriving, we head to the open table, that had seats for 8 to 9... The table next to us still had the previous occupants, but the next table was open. Fine, we were able to use this table in the meantime while we waited for them to leave. I understand that OC could not rush them out, but it added to the frustration. OC KNEW of the large party and what time we would arrive. Instead of RESERVING the two tables, or seating the current occupants at one of the other tables instead of right in the middle. To make matters way worse, the current party, who were about ready to leave when we arrived, saw we were waiting for that table all of a sudden decided they wanted dessert, and more drinks, and "oh my gosh we have to just sit here..." (Should mention one from our party asked if they could switch tables so our parties could be together. One of the patrons had the audacity to basically say that she [patron] is a b*h [yes, this was how she described herself] and wasnt going to move because she didnt have to....said with the up most rude tone that wasnt called for. Which okay, they were there first and didnt have to move, I get that, but any decent human being would have done the right thing and understood, they only stayed so the table wouldnt be vacant for us). Anyway. For a large party, they gave us only one waiter.......who was still in training, WITH NO ONE TO HELP HIM! We were still quite frustrated at the situation (again, mainly because the tables werent reserved like we were told they would be), the waiter's attitude from the beginning was less than to be desired, giving an attitude towards all of us. We ordered appetizers and drinks, waiting to order main dishes until we moved tables. Nope, the patrons stayed and stayed and stayed. Fine. We finally ordered at 10:00p...TWO hours after our original reserved time. Start getting our food: hamburgers not made correctly; one asked for onion rings and got fries (that were cold); chicken that was burned; and an order of onion rings that were cold upon arrival to the table. Needless to say our parties were finally able to sit together only when we moved chairs over and crowded around to enjoy the last few minutes before we all left, around...
Read moreI am taking time to write this review cause I have had it with this location! My partner & I have been members to old chicago since day one of opening!! We are regulars at the pueblo location along with co springs. We come to a old chicago I'd say one a week to once every two weeks. We are huge on sports so there's always something going on & old chicago is our go to. Anyways I've had an issue with this same employee everytime. I have complained about him from the 1st bad experience we had ! went back again& he was the waiter & so we told the manager personally not to sit us with him cause hes was horrible our last two experiences & we dont want that agqin So at that point we decided we won't stay if he's there. We'll we went last week & took the family. A group of 10! Ended up getting him. I thought it would have been better that we had more to the group then just my partner & I. We were wrong. He didn't give any of the customer service that was needed we got no attention. The only time was to bring the food. No refills we had to ask ourselves. Then we ordered a pizza & asked if it was big enough to feed 3 big high school girls & he said yes. The pizza comes out with 9 small slices! We told him to not correct to leave it the way it was & well deal with it. The night went on we were done we waited forever for him to bring the bill then finally he drops it at the end of the table he don't ask for our rewards number cause he knows we have one. He just leaves with the bill he still received a good tip! Didn't come back to the table so my partner has to write the number down on the receipt & gives it to him. No thank you or nothing it's like we're not human. He didn't add the points to the account. He already charged the bill. No thanking us for ANYTHING! it was honestly the worst experience & I am done with it . I called in to the manager that next day let him know about the situation. Said my points will be added to the account I been checking everyday & NOTHING. It's been over a week & the manager even got my address to send me (something for the inconvenience) still didnt get NOTHING!! At this point i dont want anything. Obviously us complaining the many times we have dont matter & so we will remove ourselves from the restaurant! It really sucks but i am glad that pueblo location is not the only old chicago in town!
I shared a screenshot of my last review that I did 2 years ago & what a change it is....
Read moreHOW IS THIS PLACE EVEN STILL OPEN Well, about 6 months after the terrible ordeal we went through with old Chicago. We decided to try to give them another shot since we couldnt get a table at thunderzone we knew our last experience was bad and went anyway as a last resort this was really a time we hoped they would redeemed themselves. Again, terrible service probably almost an hour of waiting to get our drink or food orders should of been 5 of us walking out, burnt unedible food over 2 hours later was quote on quote remade but was actually the same food re servered just added stuff to look like it was remade the food came out over burnt and over cooked and was cold so it had to be sitting for a while because it look like charcoal but cold and food was missing we honestly paid and left and went to little ceasers hot and ready and got a pizza premade which was edible
The first time we went, the food was amazing. However, the service was terrible, waited 35 min for water,
second time, food was so, so i enjoyed my burger, but I had a long wait, and everyone elses food was messed up except mine at that time
third time this time everything was terrible, waited an 1 hour and 10 min for drinks we ended up going to the bar for instant service food came out before our appetizers an hour and 45 min later everything was burnt and not edible most of us sent it back some didnt want to wait and ate it anyway the food remade was brought back in a more edible state but still burnt and 2 hours and 30 min still missing some food like the pizza wich we ended up wanting to leave not getting it. Appetizers came after our meals way later. I REALLY DO feel bad for our waiter, but his service was just as bad . They took most of the food off our bill except the appetizers and drinks since thats the only thing they got right we usually come every other week about 5 or 6 of us and we have all decided its been getting worst and we are not coming back over 3 hours of being stuck waiting and pure disappointment is now the last time we step foot...
