FJ's New Furniture — Local services in Punta Gorda

Such a neat place with already so much history in the PG community. This place has an incredible amount of coastal style furniture and decor at way better prices than the other shops in PG and port Charlotte. Seriously, go price check. Some of the stuff is hundred of dollars cheaper. Or, if you’re a shameless northerner like myself that likes darker colors and not ready to give in to the Florida lifestyle, the consignment section of the store has some very unique finds. As an example, last time I went, the first thing that caught my eye was a cobalt blue and silver Gorham china set for 6 in a vendor booth and I knew I had to have it. It was ~$150 cheaper than what I found online, and was exactly the kind of unique find I was looking for. There’s also a very cool vintage fine jewelry case by the register that has amazing antique gold and silver jewelry. I’d recommend checking it out. They travel the country and come back with cool jewelry to resell. And it’s such a short walk from the farmers market if you just want to go browse. All in all, I’d give this place an 8.5/10 for a great single, couple, or family activity to do in PG on any given day of the week. And I’d give it a 9.5/10 on the days they have food trucks. The options they bring in are always delicious! Lobster, tacos, etc. they bring in some pretty cool food on the weekends. All this place is missing is a bar and I’d live there 😂.
