Where to even begin with how amazing my experiences have been with gold pawnership. Helena (she buys and sells the luxury items at the pawn shop and her and I happened to meet on a different luxury site. She had some items I was interested in buying directly from gold pawnership however I live 9 hours Away in Richmond Virginia. Helena made me feel comfortable the moment we started Communicating via phone calls , FaceTime and texting. When it comes to buying luxury items it’s very hard to find someone you can trust and just send your money to with no guarantee that you’ll ever receive the item . I knew immediately I could trust her I purchased two absolutely beautiful Chanel handbags from her that still had original receipts , authenticity cards and dust bags . I received the bags a few days later in perfect condition . I just recently purchased a Louis Vuitton bag from her that is such a beauty . I am now about to purchase some more items We communicate often she always contacts me the moment She gets something I might like she sends me multiple photos and videos of items. She’s never been dishonest about any of her items and she gets some really amazing stuff In at SUCH great prices. Everything is authenticated and she always covers shipping. I could not be more satisfied with the relationship we’ve developed I will be a lifelong customer I’ve never had transactions that run so smoothly . I don't usually go out of my way to write a bad review, but my experience each time I've been here hasn't been great. Getting in touch to set up a time to sell goods is spotty at best. The last time I reached out I asked if there was a specific time to come by and was vaguely told in the evening. When I showed up it was almost a surprise to the people working. The girl I spoke with lowballed me below most normal market prices until I said I would just keep my items. What drove me to write this review was one particular item that I had brought last time that I passed on due to AGAIN lowballing. I brought it this time again ready to accept their prior offer. This time the offer was insultingly low. Imagine offering someone 10% of what they paid for the original item when it's perfectly fine. When I asked why the price had changed I was first told it needed to be cleaned, I had offered to provide the instant cleaning kit it came with, quite literally 0 effort. Then I was told they don't sell for much on the retail market. When I questioned the person working they didn't seem to know the difference between retail and resale. Then the reason was offers are only good for 24 hours. It was one excuse after another. I understand this is a business and they have overhead and other expenses, but there is running a business and intentionally screwing people over and they are not the same. I have worked with this company in more ways than one at this point; I have sold designer items, purchased designer items and now, with the help of this expert team, I have created the most perfect and customized engagement ring I have ever laid eyes on. From start to finish every email was answered quickly and at no point in time was I ever made to feel stupid because of how many questions I was asking. The team at this office is incredible and goes well beyond the standard of professionalism most even strive for.
