Zales — Local services in Quincy

Tammy was absolutely fabulous! All the Zales near us have closed; Quincy is about an hour and a half from me but it’s the closest location to me. I was told I could try Kay’s that they are a sister store. Sadly, several of their sister stores gave me false information about my diamond bond, but Tammy and her staff were extremely helpful! They were very knowledgeable when they looked at my ring up close and found multiple prongs that were broken off that their sister stores had missed during inspections (2 in the last 2 months) and helped me get it sent off to be fixed. They were kind and happy to help me and made the process extremely easy. We bought my ring 16 years ago and in my 16 years with Zales customer service, this was by far the best experience I’ve ever had. I just hope they keep this location open so that I have a place to go to keep my ring protected where staff are kind and wanting to help! Took my ring in to get fixed cause it was bent so they sent it off and i waited and when i finally got it back it was still bent. So they said they would replace but that took 2 months. That was 2 long months i couldn't wear my wedding ring. When it finally comes in i go into get it and im distracted by my little one and the lady didnt ask for my damaged one and i had completely forgot about it. With being so busy i figured i would be nice and mail it to them so they could get it faster cause i wasn't sure whem i could make it over that way. My husband and I came in over a year ago to pick out an engagement ring. The lady that originally helped us was very unpleasant to work with, and I ended up purchasing a ring that I wasn’t happy with. Fast forward to July 11,2025 we went back in to look for another ring. We met Tammy who happens to be a manager, and had the absolute opposite experience working with her. She was very apologetic about the first woman and made sure to do whatever possible to get me the ring I actually wanted. She wasn’t pushy, she was extremely knowledgeable, and pleasantly honest with us. I have a ring that I’m excited to wear, and because of Tammy we will likely return!
