Tonight a friend and I decided to go see our weekly movie, sometimes 2 movies. Tonight we seen the new Transformers movie. We were both very excited to see the movie. We went to the 9:45pm showing. The guy at the box office was very polite, prompt and enthusiastic during the transaction. Since we were already running late we went straight to consession stand and ordered a large drink, dopcorn, and a bag of peanut m and m's. SWe paid and proceeded to theatre our movies was playing in. So far our experience couldn't have been any better. Approximately halfway through the showing of our movie and I had just finished off my peanut M and Ms. Still being hungry for something and not wanting popcorn I opted to return to the consession stand for another bag of peanut M and Ms. It was about 11pm at this poin. There wa nobody be hide the counter but the same genteman that helped us the first time greeted me immediately telling me the consession stand was close for the night. Except of course the beverage station which is now self serv. I was very disappointed to see that it was closed with more than a half of our movie left to view and if I'm not mistaken another movie was playing. I have never been to a theater that closes consession early with more than an hour of playing time remaining of movies. That is not what I call prompt service without feeling rushed. It made us feel unimportant. I understand running a business labor cost is a concern but I believe this is more to benificial to the employee getting out of work a few more minutes early than showing the customer some appreciation. Unfortunately AMC is the only theatre within 20 miles although driving that distance 1 or 2 times a week isnt...
Read moreI use to work here back in 2018 and the difference of this place has gone down hill. They don’t show previews so make sure to get there early. On top of that I came today to see thunderbolts in theatre 4. The screen is BROKEN and they know about it but yet still choose to show movies on a broken screen. The GM has to be the most incompetent person who doesn’t know what the hell they’re doing. I came here a few months ago and no employee was back in concessions. I wanted a refill of popcorn and missed 10 minutes of the show. When I did find someone they said “oh hold on I’ll go get someone for you” I responded and said “can you not scoop popcorn for me I’ve already been waiting awhile”… they then continued to walk away and I waited another 4 minutes. Also who schedules 2 people in box and one in concessions on a Saturday???? Of course instead of the women who was working concessions telling the manager about theatre 4 screen, I came back out and she was on her phone with the rest of the employees in box and claims “she forgot”… how unprofessional. When Mathew was the GM that would’ve never happened. This...
Read moreThe tickets are a decent price, but dear God the concession prices are horrifying. I know that you have to pay more at a movie theater but we're talking small popcorns for $8 and they don't put butter on it - you have to pay and then go over to a butter "station" and guess how much should be on there. The night I went, there were 2 people working. TWO. IN THE ENTIRE THEATER. They were both wearing masks underneath their nose, which is completely pointless, and even though signs said masks are required, they weren't bothering. FULLY HALF the toilets in the women's bathroom were broken, as well as the paper towel dispensers. The theater was fine, the seats were fine, and they have the coke everything machines for drinks, which I like. But watching a dude breathe out of his nose, which isn't masked, all over my popcorn after working all day with the public during a pandemic was a...
