El Patron Lounge & Bar — Restaurant in Rahway

This place is really bad. I was there last night with some friends and my girlfriend asked the waitress if they had Malibu and she said no, then she asked if they had rum and she said no. We then walked to the bar and saw Malibu and a bunch of rum. We asked for a very popular cocktail “Cuba Libre” and none of the bartenders knew how to make it. I asked for a glass of water and I was told that they ran out of water. YES a bar ran out of water, that’s insane. Some of my friends ended up getting drinks and were super overcharged. Once my girlfriend finally got the Cuba libre that we had to explain how to make it was really nasty and she tried to fix it but it was still gross so she didn’t drink it. None of the people that work there have any idea what they are doing, it’s a mess in this place. We ended up walking out after paying for everything except for that disgusting drink and they ran after us to pay for that disgusting drink even though my girl barely touched it and I told the bartender that it was gross and we are not wasting any more money there. If i could give it a zero I def would. It is completely unacceptable the way the manager Jose handles his clientele. He is absolutely disgusting, disrespectful and it is embarrassing they couldnt put someone professional to be the face of the place. He kicks people out just because he dont like them; which is fine i understand it is private property and you have the right to deny service HOWEVER, have people go, spend money have a good time and then randomly choose to tell them to leave once the money has been spent is outrageous. This place is very racist. If you don't speak Spanish, you're not welcome. The ladies hardly speak English and don't know how to make drinks that you ask for. This place is extremely over-priced.
