I am ONLY giving 3 stars because the lady I first spoke to at the register was very very sweet. Great employee. Now. I tried to place a decent size order online however realized I couldn't pay cash . That's totally understandable. So I call. I go through the order with the gentleman on the phone he was very sweet. I asked for a chai tea latte he explains over the phone that his machine was broken so he has to check. However the lady tells him yes they have it. Tells me at the end that we can't do cash over the phone. Okay fine. I tell him look we are literally pulling up can you please save the order so I don't have to read the whole thing again he says yes. We get there he tells us again no cash. So we have to move to a completely different register and redo the order. Then they tell us no chai tea lattes even though literally 1 minute prior they said yes Then we take the order back to work and one of the sandwiches is wrong. It's just missing tomatoes no biggie right. Well I get there. I meet the super sweet lady at the register. I have 0 issues with her she was wonderful. The second lady however tells me she can't fix my sandwich for me because it will ruin her food cost and she can't take it back because I opened it. All she did was give me tomatoes and tell me to do it myself. After questioning me a million times about whether or not i was sure the sandwich was messed up. Now I've worked in restaurants. I've managed restaurant. Never have I been told do to it myself when they messed up. We work close by and eat at panera all the time and never have I been so disappointed. Not what I expect for customer service or food quality when I have almost a 100...
Read moreIf I could give ZERO stars, I would. Was visiting family in Raleigh and we went to Panera for dinner after a long day. We got a "to go" order. Before leaving, we checked to make sure all of the components were there - a soup was missing but they gave it to us and we were on our way. We get home and I open my Fuji Apple Chicken Salad and it contained a bunch of mixed greens, ONE walnut, NO apple chips, ONE cherry tomato and ONE piece of onion. I immediately called the store to complain and asked for a refund because I was not driving all the way back to Panera for a replacement. I think I spoke with a manager who was named Jim. He said "I'll talk to my staff about the salad." Really? He was unable to process a refund via telephone after being given my receipt number, card number, etc. He told me to come into the store the next day (uh, a BIG inconvenience) to get a refund. I asked him for the name of the manager I should speak to the next day. He said, "oh I'll put a note in the group chat so the manager will know." Uh, no - give me someone's name to refer to when I get to the store. He could not/would not. Absolutely RUINED my dinner. My sister then had to cut up veggies to put into a salad I'd just paid for. I spent alot of money for the meals and I should be reimbursed for the ruining of my family meal experience. I only visit my family ONCE a year in Raleigh and the LAST thing I want to do is chase down a refund from Panera. I frequent Panera ALOT in the Washington, DC area and I am used to SERVICE. I want a gift card for my entire purchase. Yep, I'm reaching out to corporate. This was totally...
Read moreThis was the second time this particular person who works the drive-thru was rude and disrespectful. The first time I asked this same person to enter my phone number because I did not have my member's card with me. it look like she entered my number (BUT she did not) then handed me a new membership card and told me to use it next time. I complained to Corporate and local management about the sense that this person was upset that I ASKED HER TO ENTER MY PHONE NUMBER. This time (this morning at 6:22am) when giving my order I asked specifically what I wanted. At the window I checked (because THIS Panera is not known for getting my orders at drive-thru correct), I told her the order was wrong ... I asked for 3 creamers and NOT 3 SUGAR, she took the bag from me with a disgusted look on her face put 3 creamers in the bag handed it to me and shut the window. If management saw HER SOUR LOOK it would have gotten her fired. I AM TIRED OF THIS PERSON'S POOR ATTITUDE. When I asked her, what was her name ... she ignored me. She would not open the window. THIS IS THE LAST TIME. I WILL NOT STOP HERE AGAIN. If I visit PANERA again I will go to either Brier Creek or Crabtree Valley Mall where my business is appreciated ... here at this location 6201 Glenwood Ave Panera employs people who JUST DON'T GET WHAT CUSTOMER SERVICE MEANS.
12/08/2017 I figured I would try again and to my supprise they are consist at this location. NO soufflé at 6:15am! These folks at this location just...
