Quail Corners Shopping Center — Local services in Raleigh

This isn't your ordinary open air shopping mall. There is a wide variety of restaurants (if you haven't tried Cristo's it may be the best Italian food I've ever had). Big Ed's has a great breakfast that is affordable and take out is fast! The retail scene is growing and boasts a unique variety from high end women's clothes, trendy boutiques (Swagger), specialty candy/soda (Rocket Fizz), All Star Bike Shop and Peace Camera. The nail salon is fantastic and well priced - but book ahead as walk ins generally wait a while. The Butcher's Market is a specialty grocer store with house made sides and meals along with produce, some pantry goods, beer and wine. A likeable place and has plenty parking. The yarn shop is a visual treat. Love the grocery store that is there and the sushi bar is a delight.

The deli cooks are helpful and friendly. On the hot bar...need to cook beef short ribs more often. I wish they had a chalk board where they posted the hot bar menu at least 72 hours ahead of time in-store and on-line. The meat department is way too pricey...but you get what you pay 4.

The drug store's proximity is really convenient. A Brueggers on-site is a bonus. Gee...I like...

The owners of this strip mall vlaim that ALL businesses here must be owner operated. This apparently is not the case as several businesses are not only chain but owners never actually attend the stores and managers are employed to do the day to day operation. My mothers business was booted from here with no notice under these pretenses. The owners clearly have a different set of rules for one shop...
