Our waitress LeAnn was OUTSTANDING and deserved so much more than she got with a take-over table. Her service and the food was amazing! She made sure we had a table away from the overly drunk, loud group. The food was large portions and an equal/reasonable price. The table of 6 +/-, of the Carolina Ale House's financial persons were drunk, loud, obnoxious and COMPLETELY OBLIVIOUS to other patrons and small children near them, especially when they were swearing obscenities at the top of their lungs. It appeared as if they were not concerned about anyone or anything but their own drunken amusement. According to everyone, they had been there for 5 hours drinking and nibbling. When your staff has to repeatedly tell you to lower your voice, there's a problem. Most, if not all left drunk and were getting behind the wheel, refusing offers of a car service loudly enough for the whole restaurant to hear. For this reason and this reason only I give this CHAIN a single star. You are a reflection of your business. If you cannot behave like respectful adults in public AND at your OWN business, you have NO business being there! By this action and this action only, we will NOT recommend nor continue to do business with this chain. You are the face of Carolina Ale House; what a shame.

Published this review on yelp, but not everyone has Yelp. I am giving at least two stars because the hostess was friendly and willing to help us out, but our server was quite a bit nosy. I don't remember what his name was and that's probably for the best. From the minute, we walked in we felt rushed. Don't get me wrong We were up in the Raleigh area for an appointment, but we had plenty of time to get to our appointment. We started with an appetizer and though it tasted great, two out of three of the plates they brought out still had food residue on them. My family enjoyed their food however, my food came out and our server said don't touch the bowl it's hot. But when I put my fork into my broccoli it was cold. There was little to no sauce on my chicken and my carrots were cold as well. Our server asked me my age, though it was not relevant to what we ordered as none of us ordered an alcoholic beverage. It threw all of us for a loop and we all found it disrespectful. All in all I will just stick to the Carolina ale House in Fayetteville where I live as I have never had a complaint about their business. But after seeing the other yelp reviews and google reviews, this is not where I would be taking my family for lunch ever again. Believe the reviews on this one

The fact that I wound up having to eat the steak with my hands like a cave man may or may not be the fault of this establishment. Uber eats delivered it to my room absent the requested utensils. When I spoke with the restaurant they said the order didn’t include a request for utensils. I know I requested them (through Uber keep in mind) as I’m in a hotel with no access to these items. I checked carefully that they were requested. So…. Giving the restaurant the benefit of the doubt this review is on the 23 dollar dry aged ribeye steak ordered med rare. As you can see in the pictures the steak was cooked to well and arrived perfectly unseasoned. My advise is order it salt brined and raw and don’t let Uber have anything to do with any part of it. And lastly, I’m not able to offer any option on the mashed potatoes other than they were quite brown and odd to look at. The hotel courtesy utensils weren’t up to the job of scooping them and broke (please keep in mind they were room temp at the time of the attempt due possibly to ubers error) The “grilled vegetables “ were borccoli and cauliflower. Peak of the summer harvest season here in North Carolina I guess that’s all they could find.
