Tiff's Treats Cookie Delivery — Local services in Raleigh

So I ordered some cookies really late at like 4:00am and they arrived at my door at 11:00am as I requested. The cookies themselves were pretty good, soft and chewy and tasty. I also ordered buttercream icing which really tasted like sugar to me. I was expecting that deep rich buttercream flavor which didn’t happen. So next time I order, I’ll just get the cookies. I did get a half off coupon which was great because these are pricey. The only downfall is the fact you can’t mix and match a dozen cookies. You either have to get 1/2 dozen of one kind or a dozen of what the website recommends. I would rather be able to choose which cookies I want. Do not buy the Surprise bag from this place on the TooGood to go app. They sell a few of these each day but when I showed up to pick up my prepaid order they told me they already gave out all the bags for the day. It was only 1:00pm and when I showed the invoice she took it to the manager and said oh well. They said to reach out to the app for a refund with no excuse as to why they sell more bags then the can honor. The manager never even came out of her office to discuss nor was a replacement item even offered which shows the type of business they run. I guess the surprise is really on the customer....

Deceptive business practices. I canceled my Tiff's Treats Elite subscription ($50/ year for free deliveries) after inadvertently signing up for it last year. Then, a year later, I happened to notice an email that I was going to be charged for another year. I responded and asked to cancel. I was told that this was part of the Terms and Conditions. Upon reading the full Ts&Cs they also state they can change their Terms and Conditions at any time without any notification to consumers. While I have enjoyed the treats, I will be taking my business...
