Brewery Tours of San Diego — Local services in Ramona

I chose Brewery Tours of SD to celebrate my 40th. I scheduled a private tour of three breweries and dinner, with 20 of my buddies. Jon was super helpful in setting up the itinerary. It was so easy to deal w/him and get exactly what we wanted. Anytime I had a question I dropped him an email and he was right there w/an answer.

Here's what our schedule looked like. 5pm Pickup Westin Gaslamp 5:45 Lost Abbey - Tour & Tasting (Scott rocked this!) 7pm Stone - Tasting (They gave me a beer float for my bday) 8:15 San Marcos - Dinner & Tasting (Great meal and we even got appetizers!) 10pm Drop Off (Booo! It's over)

Once I picked the date, Jon billed me via paypal for the $250 deposit. Piece of cake! After that all I had to was coordinate getting all my buddies there on time. No small task. Because of this I opted to pay the driver in cash as the time of pick up. Scott was our driver. He was very very cool and easy going. He was very knowledgeable of the breweries and the beer making process. He had to put up w/a lot too. As my group is pretty loud and full of energy. Not to mention it was pouring. Lots of rain came down while on our tour. No big deal for Scott though. He was in control and very cool. He led our tour like a champ! To top it off, he gave us all souvenir glasses. At the end of the night all I had to do was collect cash from everyone for the well deserved tip for Scott.

I fully recommend using Brewery Tours of San Diego. We will definitely use them again and hopefully Scott will be our driver too! Overall the price was VERY affordable and WAY worth it! No rip offs here!

My son, Nick, wanted a private party to visit some breweries. We had a group of 2w and reserved the large bus! So glad he chose Brewery Tours of San Diego. Jon was very responsive to my requests and gave me advise on how to make this night special. We visited a new and upcoming Brewerey spot called Eppig, in Point Loma. Jon told us about it. LOVED the location! He even assisted by being there to receive the pizza I ordered for our arrival!! Thanks, Jon. Now Adam, our driver, was AWESOME!! He hit it off with the group from the start! Jon and Adam tag teamed during our adventure and timed our arrivals with beer samples appearing as our large party arrived. I was very pleased with the timing and coordination. Absolutely loved our 11am brew tour of Amplified, Pizza Port, and Eppig!! Austin was an awesome, tour guide, driver, photographer, and beer friend! We ended up having a ‘private’ tour as my part was the only one that booked for that morning, so enjoyed having a lot of time to ourselves. Amplified was probably our favorite place - views were beautiful, beer was delicious, and outside patio was perfect for a sunny SoCal winter day. Also, the owners wife was giving out cupcakes that she made and they were AH-mazing. Pizza Port’s pizza was delicious and came at a great time on the tour. Beer was good, but got pints instead of a flight, and maybe would have preferred to try a few more. Lastly, Eppig was in an incredible location on the water - I don’t think we would have found it without our tour! Another flight to end the tasting and we loved all of them!
