Bret was the only person who agreed to even look at my pool problem. I had a 20+ year old Jandy Industries control box and remote. When the remote died, I went online and found one to buy. I didn’t need the control box at that time, but wanted the remote. So, I bought both. A few years later, the old control box died. It seemed logical not to try and repair it. Instead, to install the newer control box. I thought they were the same wiring inside. I was wrong. I tried to wire it correctly, but everything wouldn’t work… including the pool heater. Bret spent hours correcting my mistakes and got everything to work… except the heater. We figured I burned out the circuit board with my incorrect wiring job. Bret found one online for around $500. I said to install it. I was out of town when he came. It turns out he didn’t need the circuit board and was able to make it run without it. HE COULD HAVE SAID HE INSTALLED IT… BUT BRET IS HONEST. I met Bret through my extensive online research of replacing my current pool guy that went MIA. I had printed out five pool companies that I did research on and marked them in order from one to five based on reviews, Bret was number one on my list. After I text him he immediately replied back and was able to come look at my pool and quote me a reasonable price for weekly service. He seems extremely knowledgeable, which was a priority to me.
