Bunker Gaming — Local services in Ramsey

I'm giving it 2 stars because usually I enjoy coming to this store. USUALLY, you have great prices, quick service, and friendly staff.

Today was the exact opposite. I came in just to browse, and there was some kind of Pokemon event, so of course it's busy, I expect that. What I didn't expect was the inexperienced kid with glasses behind the counter. I asked him the prices of several cards, and he said he was going to look them up, only to drop that to help other people who showed up after me first. He did this repeatedly, I was waiting on their price for one card for at least 20 minutes, only for him to come back and tell me it's double the price it was supposed to be. And that's not even mentioning the other times he did the same. I was in the store for nearly twice as long because of this.

I understand the store is busy, but you should not be making one customer who is already waiting to be helped wait longer because someone new walked up, that's ridiculous, I was already being helped. Again, I normally love to shop here, but this is genuinely...

I have been to many game stores with my kiddo to search for Pokémon cards and none have made me want to come back like Bunker gaming did. I am not a Pokémon girl, not a gamer, and never did I ever picture myself in a store scouring for Pokémon cards and because of this I’m clueless in a very complicated and overwhelming hobby. Bunker gaming didn’t treat me like an outsider or make me feel stupid for not knowing but they helped me and taught me a few things that I know will be a great asset to my sons hobby. This shop will exploit you when given the opportunity, without concern for your time or integrity. My wife and I spent five hours looking through Pokémon bulk, labeled, "20c, actual price may vary," which is fine; I get it. However, spending 40+ minutes to look through every card on TCGplayer and upcharging on 40% of the cards (about 50 of my 120 cards), tells me they prefer to let customers look through bulk for them to nickel and dime, rather than just sorting it out themselves.
