Miss Iz is hands-down the best ice cream shop around! My family and friends have been regulars for a while, and we've never been disappointed. The selection is incredible, with something for everyone, and the quality is unmatched. Even my stubborn dad, who was loyal to a popular chain with Minnesota roots, was reluctant at firstābut after we convinced him to give Miss Iz a try, he was hooked!
The atmosphere is so inviting, with a charming 50's and 60's decor that makes it the perfect spot to hang out. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, which just adds to the whole experience. We usually do takeout once a month because we love, love, LOVE their ice cream.
If you haven't been yet, you're really missing out. Whether you're a die-hard ice cream lover, looking for a unique ice cream pie (YUM!!), ready for some gelato, wanting to share a date over some ice cream nachos, or just looking for a great place to relax and enjoy some ice cream, Miss Iz is the spot. Give it a tryāyou won't be...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was so excited to have a hand dipped old fashioned chocolate malt. But it was made with hot fudge and she didn't warn me that it wasn't going to maintain a thick "malt" consistency. Tasted fine but it was super super runny. I don't think hot fudge is what you should be recommending for a malt (it was her that made that recommendation) maybe I should have known better & I wasnt sure if it would turn out ok. Sadly it had the consistency of a very runny milk shake. I even when I told her its really runny and she said thats how its supposed to be. šŖ Malts should always be super thick or you don't call it a malt and if I were an icecream shop owner, I would want to make sure my employees know what ingredients are best in a simple old fashioned chocolate malt - to keep it thick. Hard vanilla Ice cream, chocolate syrup, malted milk powder, and a little splash of milk. That's all...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTheir ice cream and gelato tastes amazing, and I can tell itās really good quality! They have a nice variety of flavor options, and they do offer samples, which I really appreciate (because Iām pretty picky). šš¦
Some fun unique things they offer are ice cream ānachosā (the chips are waffle cone pieces), ice cream flights (trays with multiple scoops of different flavors), and many different sundaes.
The decor is very much 1950ās ice cream shop inspired and itās a unique, kitschy, and fun place to bring the whole family for treats. My Grandma who is 77 really loved it.
All the girls that work here are super nice and patient, and they keep it very clean, tidy...
