Chanticlear Pizza — Restaurant in Anoka

Chanticlear is absolutely smashing it right now! They offer an amazing value for REAL pizza (not that jiffy box type crust some national brands use), they have some unique toppings and specialty pizzas too... pickles are awesome on their pizzas. The cheesebread is made from real Italian bread and the cheese they use is perfect for the bread and pizza; not over the top stringy or chewy, just the right amount of pull. They use the perfect amount of toppings, which is nice because you get what you pay for.

The flavor of the pizza sauce isn't spiced over the top (which I like because I want to taste the tomato and not just oregano and basil), the perfect amount of seasoning and a hint of sweet to balance the acidic tomatoes. The toppings are amazing quality and it truly shows. (Think more hometown pizza parlor than artesian pizzeria) They offer a few sizes of pizzas and crust types to fit most needs. Their serving size per pizza is generous so if you go by those guidelines you'll have no issues.

The staff does an amazing job as well! You can tell they take pride in their job and truly make a wonderful meal for both the eyes and palette. They seem to have the mindset that every order is a "first time customer" so each time you get consistent food that is above par. The delivery drivers have all been superb as well! Even through distance deliveries at the height of the pandemic they always did a wonderful job.

Horrible management and owner. Placed an order and it arrived late, cold and wrong. I called and the first manager I spoke with was very apologetic and offered to send a correction or credit my account for another day. They were closing soon so I opted for the latter. When I made my next order I explained the scenario and the acting manager that night said I was lieing to get free food. As I hadn't even been refunded for the mistake, this was even more agrivating. I asked to speak with the other manager and he said she wain't in and wouldn't tell me when she would work next. I asked for his supervisor and he said the only person above him was the owner who was on vacation. After a lengthy conversation I was finally able to get the owners email address and was told the owner would call me when he returned. I followed up with an email detailing the scenario and childish behavior of his manager but never heard anything back. Would never recommend...

I have ordered quite a few times from them for pickup, though they do offer delivery as well.

They have some great specials and I usually get the XL One Topping Special for $10.99 on Thursdays. You can add ingredients to it for a cost, which is a great option, rather than one ingredient or you can't use the offer.

I have tried both the thin crust and the original and I prefer the thin crust. It is crispy around the edges. High quality cheese and ingredients.

The staff at pickup have been great, especially during COVID when it was contactless pickup. Now you can go in and pick it up at the counter. Staff is always friendly.

I have noticed a few issues with online ordering or App ordering, in that if you try to order after 8:30 PM when they close at 9 PM, it doesn't work. If that happens, I make a phone call and place my order which has...
