Riversbend Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Ramsey

The bartender at this place is a joke. Tonight we walked in through a cloud of smoke(their front door is directly next to their smoking area so you always get a wonderful smell walking in). The bartender says hello sees us sit down, hardly any people in there at 8pm, guess we know why. He watched us sit there for almost 15 minutes with no one greeting us. Not sure if there even was a server there or it was just him. After 15 minutes we walked out and on our way out he replied have a nice night. Like what? You knew we were sitting there you said hello. Yet he just sat at the bar taking. Mind you this is the second time with this bartender. If you don’t sit at the bar, forget it, you won’t get served. I honestly don’t know how he still has a job. The food is mid but if your going to go there make sure the bartender isn’t serving tables or your service will be...

We were greeted within a few minutes. Our beverage order was taken. Our beverages were brought to the table and we were informed our server would be Abby. 26 minutes later Abby had not showed to take our order. There were two women cleaning tables after a large group the entire time we sat there. If one of you was Abby here's a hint: you could have taken our order and gone back to cleaning while our food was being cooked. ( Oprah says you should multi-task). I live within walking distance and won't come back. It seems you cater to regulars and aren't looking to expand your clientele. We won't miss each other. Walked in and there were a few tables and people at the bar, we ordered drinks asked for menus and down hill from there, asked 2 times to order food, finally when our app came we could order food and even then she was very short, her focus was on customers that are local ( there often)my husbands pop had been empty 15 mins. My beer was empty just as long and i attempted to get her attention, finally after 20mins Decided im going to ask for it to go and even then she tried to shoe me Away! NEVER have I wanted to give a verbal tip.... it got busy now after requesting my food to go! I feel this was a very unpleasant experience and would be for anyone who is not a regular!
