My husband and I each ordered the Burrito Chile Reyenos (a burrito with chile relleno inside) and it was phenomenal! Both the red and the green sauce were very authentic and reminded us of flavors from Mexico. I wound up wanting both sauces on mine and my husband had just the red (spicy) sauce. Their salsa was very good as well, the right amount of thickness that we expect at an authentic restaurant. Their chips were also perfect and not too salty like a lot of other places around this area. The waiter had no one else to wait on while we were there (we got there at 3pm) and was a bit slow to bring us new chips and salsa (had to ask for refills individually on both after we sat there for 10 minutes wondering). The place has a few caveats with their building including one of the bathroom stalls not functioning in the women’s bathroom (the handicap stall) as well as the hand soap dispenser being completely out and the only soap in the bathroom was dishsoap. The air filter above our table (previously reviewed as full and dirty) was recently cleaned but still dusty, they should paint that one like the rest of the ceiling to match as it does take away from the space a bit. The tables, booths, and chairs are classy and really are comfortable compared to many other restaurants in the area as well.
Definitely recommend trying the authentic food! Overall I’m giving 5 stars...
Read moreI ordered the 3 steaks tacos, quesabirria tacos and the Philly cheesesteak burrito and 3 street corns to go. We received our order and I was disappointed when I arrived home and there was no consommé. I called them to let them know my order was messed up and the short thick neck guy was rude and laughed at me. I explained I spent $70 and my order should be complete and correct. I had to drive another 20 minutes back there and he came from the back with his chest out like he was right. I explained over and over to him what the issue was, it wasn’t until the female waitress explained to him what was wrong that he understood. The rude ingrate couldn’t even apologize for being wrong. Returned home and the street corn is tasteless with no seasoning and tasted like I put a spoon of mayo in my mouth. The consommé was 1/2 oil every time I dipped the taco, oil ran and dripped from it. They also refused to allow me to speak with a manager or...
Read moreI ordered the molcajete, and in the menu it says it comes with a cut up chorizo sausage, along with several other meats. Mine was missing the sausage and I asked why I did not get any. Our server seemed surprised and then had to go ask someone and then came and told me they were out of sausage. This meal is $32 because of all the different types of meat in it. A whole sausage missing was a significant part of it. When they brought the bill they charged me the full amount. I expected maybe a couple bucks would be knocked off since a significant part of the meal was missing. Pretty shady. I did not ask for a discount and just paid my bill. I will not be back due to that, although the...
