Best RC shop I've ever been to. Mitch provided me All-Star customer service. My experience with other Caucasian male was just the same. One helped me with my Outcast 8s while Mitch helped me with my Losi 5Ive-T 2.0 gas vehicle.
Let me tell you something..
There is no shop that has the knowledge and experience in 5th scale two-stroke gas racing more than RC Country Hobbies. My experience in working with Mitch & D.J. on my 5th scale Losi was unbelievable. I was getting a real crash course in 1/5 scale racing and vehicle setup from an expert class competitor without having to pay for the knowledge. He even knew Dan at O'Neill Brothers Racing (the gentleman building my race engine) on a personal level of friendship. Dan confirmed that Mitch is fast on the track and a world-class level competitor.
You just don't get this knowledge at many RC Shops. There are many great RC Shops but only a few that deserve the title as best.
R/C Country Hobbies physically stocks aftermarket parts for 1/5 scale 2-stroke racing vehicles!.. On the shelf!..
I was just in town and decided to stop by a shop I found on the internet.. and actually found a gold mine!.. I ended up spending almost $400 on aftermarket parts for my Outcast 8s and my Losi 5ive-T 2.0 because this is the one shop that had everything there ready to go.
If you're just a hobbyist or just getting into the sport of competitive racing,. Stop by R/C Country Hobbies!.. knowledge itself has a dollar value.. and I was able to get a lot of knowledge for free while being served. Excellent customer service by Mitch and his co-worker in the...
Read moreNever again, will we buy from the store. We should have learned her lesson the first time we bought my son an RC car brand new a couple of years ago and within a week the battery had died even despite charging it. Yesterday we went in and bought my special needs son a giant lava lamp for $160.( which we now know is overprice by about $30 according to online websites.) when we arrived at the store, the workers had lava lamp, completely open and practically out of the box on the floor.. The lava lamp was cloudy and not bright. I called the store to let them know I wanted to bring it in to get a refund. I was told that I could not get a refund for the item because they weren’t comfortable taking the item back because we open the box. We actually didn’t open the box initially they did either way instead of trying to make it right. They simply did not want to do anything but keep the $160 and tell me we couldn’t return it definitely look at other stores first. Make sure you go to a store that has quality items and cares more about their customer satisfaction with the items they sell rather than making a buck big expensive lesson learned, and I will be letting everyone I know not to go to that store to make purchases due to...
Read moreI think RC Country Hobbies would be a great, maybe 5 star hobby shop. The one problem is the staff, very rude and smarty. I am personally into land RC products like rally cars or semi trucks. When went over to the off-road department, I was hoping to by a TACON Calvery. I asked one of the guys behind the desk..."NEVER HEARD OF IT!" He said it in a kind of know it all way, I was quite surprised by the response. I am not sure if the RC company TACON is that unknown. The guy showed no expression of thought, but an expression of your wasting my time. He tried to sell me a small silver buggy and I simply said no thanks and left. That was my experience, and if did not guess, it was not fun one. I would like to recommend a great little hobby shop in Redding California. The place was called All Around RC and Hobbies. The kid there was kind and gave me some great deals on Traxxas Slash body shells. I also got a new charger. Very cool and simple place with good prices and was fun to be in. I cannot give RC Country only one star since there is a lot of cool stuff in that place, but the workers just did not impress me and they also have a no...
