Green Hills Florist — Local services in Rancho Palos Verdes

My family and I have been going to Green Hills Florist for more than 20 years. They’ve been there for us on Mother’s Day, Valentine’s Day, weddings and other special occasions over the years. I rarely write reviews for businesses, but want to write a very long-overdue review for our family’s florist especially after this year’s Mother’s Day. Because of pandemic, we couldn’t visit our mom but the flower arrangement designed and delivered by Green Hills to our mom truly made her feel special and appreciated. The owner understood how we were feeling and went out of her way to make the occasion extra special for our mom with such gorgeous flowers. The owner really cares about her customers (not surprising since they’ve been in business for so long and are still local’s favorite) and it shows through impeccable customer service. The designers are truly professional, up-to-date with trends while keeping their signature classic style. Words are meaningless unless you try it. I really loved the service of the front desk florist. They were really helpful and helped me put these together. It was more so the owner who was a bit dismissive. I spent a total of $118, if you want a full bouquet just be prepared to spend. The flowers are pretty fresh, they are priced individually. There are no premade bouquets that have high quality flowers it’s whatever they have in the back. I can see how helpful they are for the funeral services and graveyard, more so expensive for individual buyers. It’s the first time that I was told I had to pay extra for extra green leaf fillers $7, ribbon, and gift paper $7. They only do clear paper. I spoke with Amy a couple times to get information about and confirm my order for a standing flower arrangement. She was so kind and helpful each time I talked to her. This was the only flower shop local to the Green Hills Cemetery that answered the phone. I placed my order 4 days before the service.
