Pure Barre — Local services in Los Angeles

Truly feel so lucky to live close to Pure Barre San Pedro! I've been out of shape and in recovery for a year, and chose PB as my first foray back into a healthy lifestyle. Main motivators in choosing PB were location, their robust schedule (especially the after work classes), and the style of classes offered.

I love that there are 4 different and dynamic formats to choose from. As someone who can get bored with workouts, I've really enjoyed how unique each one is. But what really convinced me that PB was the right place for me is their incredible staff. This isn't your typical gym - this is a community that looks to uplift each and every attendee. From the front desk to the instructors, you can just tell they genuinely care about you and your journey through PB!

Today I took my very first Pure Barre class with the free class coupon they offered. The instructor was very informative. I re-began my fitness journey last year, and I thought I was farther along than I am (LOL). This class showed me muscles I have not felt in a LONG time. I signed up for the 3-month 2x's a week membership because it is a challenge and not because it is easy. I liked that no one shamed me because I couldn't finish or do every move, but was encouraged and gently corrected to do it properly so I wouldn't hurt myself. I do hope they offer more of the Align classes at the 6 am hour along with the Classic. Once I feel stronger, I'll try the Reform classes.

I've been really loving the classes that I've taken at this location. Every staff member I've interacted with has been lovely. Where they shine is their responsiveness and follow up. Some studios might be about getting you to purchase packages and not caring whether you use them. Not here. I appreciate the texts that ask whether I'm ready to book another class. I can see why the classes are so popular and always full. They're a really good workout. I actually sweat and feel the burn. The instructors correct your form and they have great energy. Although I'm not from the local area, i think the drive is worth it. I look forward...
