Garden Village — Local services in Los Angeles

I can't tell this place apart from a 1992 hip house party in Chicago, a 2005 rave in Sydney or a 1997 acid house party in Detroit. There are always people spilling onto the sidewalk, cars out of control everywhere absolut madness housed within this strip mall. If you do not move quick enough you will get run over by a car and swept up by a kids on skate boards. Don't drive with the expectation of your Lexus or Mercedes-Benz being unscathed when you leave. Always busy and fun on a Friday or Saturday night like a Chicago hip house party. I want to say at least three quarters of the South Bay 20 something scene is found at the garden village on any given weekend like a drug fueled rave in Sydney. Garden Village is perfect for date night great prices, location, and it's got good service. It's outstanding how fun this spot is with as much business it gets and how it upholds such a good appearance for the area like a acid house...

This area is my spot, Albertsons is back and Haggan is out, thank goodness. I hang out in this area, because I live over here, but some of my favorite places are here. Jasmina Hana for some great Thai food and WONDERFUL service. The ladies in there are very friendly and if you keep coming back, they will remember you, which is a plus. The food is good quality and the atmosphere is great, as long as you do not come in during 2-4pm Monday thru Friday, because there is a middle school near the area and the kids come and take over. They spend money, but they are loud and the ladies try to calm them down. They are more behaved in the restaurant, than they are in Starbucks. After a good meal, I good for a little...

The customer service here is poor. I asked what idle a product is that a person will just point maybe it's aisle 3 maybe it's I'll 7 I'm not sure. Then I asked the person who why don't you show me where it is? And then they act like I just asked them to bury a body! Anytime of day the checkout lines are always full because there's usually only two or three, I understand they're understaffed. I'm just writing as a warning you will not go in quickly and leave quickly. The deli department is always understaffed but the people that work there are wonderful. I always have to park far away by the bank because there's so much congestion in front of the store it's just easier to park far away and...
