I have always enjoyed shopping at all Kohls locations, but the Kohls in RSM is especially great! There seems to be a very low employee turnover rate (which is truly impressive and valuable in today’s retail environment!) so therefore, I’ve gotten to get to know the employees and it feels good to be greeted on a personal level in return as well! In addition, the morale and enthusiasm is always upbeat and it shows that the employees genuinely enjoy working there, therefore I feel that I’m consistently treated with superior customer service! The store itself is also impeccable! The fact that it is two stories, and that it offers a Sephora inside as well as an Amazon return center, online pick up self service, ample parking, multiple checkout queues as well as several self checkout lanes just make it beyond convenient! And if there is something online at Kohls that isn’t available in the store, they offer free shipping if you purchase it while inside the store! I love Kohls as a retailer but shopping at the Rancho Santa Margarita (RSM) location enhances my shopping experience that much more!...
Read moreI love the RSM store. I shop there constantly, and tell people I got my clothes there when I receive a compliment. But they need to work on customer service with their associates, especially when it comes to dealing with people from different backgrounds (I'm Hispanic) Most of the employees, especially the young and/or not white, are nice and friendly; like Margarita, whose nice chitchat makes me feel I'm talking to a friend. And even at returns most people are at least polite. So when I get someone like Ginger, I'm surprised. Not only she didn't say please or thank you, but her words were like barking orders. And it wasn't just with me. She kept asking the people who were in line if they were there for an Amazon return. I get it, nobody likes to deal with long lines; but employees who don't like working with people, especially customers from different ethnicities, should look for a different line of work than customer service. Read moreI have been to this Kohl’s store many times due to the fact that I live in RSM and I have never had such a great customer service experience. Let me start by saying Christopher is such an amazing asset to this store, I was having so much difficulty with the kiosk and an order (finding a dress for my daughter) and would have just gave up and left if it were not for him. Christopher went above and beyond for me, not only did he make my trip hassle free (having a toddler and an infant with me) but he was so pleasant and patient with me all while helping me be able to purchase the dress for my daughter in a timely fashion. He was able to completely surpass my expectations for customer service and just an all around amazing employee! (At the time this happened he was working upstairs by the shoe and kiosk department) This is the first time that I have ever taken the time and submitted a review on an employee because he was so great.
